Isco: "We will see the Madrid that we've seen in the last few games."

"Pressing a lot with intensity, sticking to our philosophy of having the ball and counter attacking at any moment".

"Roma is a difficult opponent, they've got big players."

"But we have to concentrate on our game, in our idea of football, and from there we'll see what happens."

"We know that with them being at home they will come out highly motivated."

"We know that with them being at home they will come out highly motivated."

"It will be a difficult knockout game, we will see if it goes in our favour."

"Maybe it helps to play the second leg in front of our supporters with the fans on our side."

"We're going to try to get a positive result there to return and finish off the tie at home."
"Since Zidane's arrival he has given me the freedom to play football."
"To do what I know to do out on the field & to have the defensive responsibility, which is very important for the balance of the team"

"I knew Zidane from the first year with Ancelotti, when he was the assistant coach & he gave me good advice."

"Zidane's control, his dribbling, the volley he scored in the ninth European Cup..."

"I remember that he was very elegant in what he did, with a lot of class."

Isco: "The Champions League is the most important club competition. Everyone dreams of playing in it."

"I'm really happy to have been able to take part in it in almost every year of my career. I've also been lucky to win it."

"It's a very similar squad (to La Décima team), we've hardly made any changes."

"We've got a very large squad, it’s strong and competitive, and now we've got to work hard to try to bring the Champions League home."

Milan reportedly turned down €60m for Carlos Bacca as Real Madrid may seek him in summer 2016.

The Rossoneri's star striker appears to have picked up the interest of a great deal of clubs in Europe as he was sought after in the winter transfer window.

According to Italian sources, Milan received an offer of €60m for the player, even though they do not specify which club the offer came from.

They also report that Real Madrid and Chelsea have probed for the player and may make an offer in the summer, along with 2 Chinese clubs, who could try to outbid their competitors.

Milan turned down all offers in the winter transfer window, though it remains to be seen if they'll be able to do the same in the summer, especially if they do not qualify for European competitions. [ItaSportPress]

Cristiano Ronaldo answered a few questions yesterday evening as part of the pre match conference before today's game:

What is your take on Messi’s penalty against Celta?

"I’ll be precise with this. I know why Leo did this, but I won’t elaborate any more. You can now think what you want (basically implying that he gave the goal to Suarez to increase his goal tally in the golden shoe race)"

Doubts about your performances?

“This is something normal. When you raise a child poorly and give them everything they want then decide to change tact, they cry as a result. I’ve created a level of expectation for people but I do hope that I keep playing this poorly for the rest of the season”.

General feelings at Real Madrid?

"I’m happy and at a club that gives me plenty of affection.
I’m playing constantly and score from time to time. I couldn’t be happier and I’m at the best club in the world.”

The Champions League this season?

"I feel the same way about this competition as I do about La Liga. I want to do all I can to help Madrid to win. This is a special competition and I always want to do well for the fans"

Do you feel Madrid are favorites?

"I always feel we are the favorites. We’ve won this competition more than any other club. We can still aspire to win the league title although we are a few points adrift but we all start from scratch at this point in the UCL”.

Totti still playing at 39?

"It’s amazing. He really is an example to everyone. He’s proving that age isn’t everything. He’s a great role model and show’s that on occasion there are no limits in football".

Does the MSN benefit from the fact that all 3 are friends?

"You believe all that you read? I’ll be straight with you. At Manchester United we won the Champions League and I didn’t talk to the likes of Scoles, Giggs or Ferdinand, apart from 'Good Morning'. Despite that, we had an excellent team. I don’t have to go out for dinner with Benzema or invite him over. What counts is what happens on the pitch. I don’t need hugs and kisses"

You haven’t scored away from the Bernabeu since November?

"Since I arrived in Spain, show me one player that has scored more goals away from home. There isn’t one".

Zinedine Zidane also spoke to the press ahead of Real Madrid’s match against Roma at the Olympic Stadium

What do you need to do to go through?

"We have to start the game strongly. It’s another difficult match. Roma are a good side, they know how to play. But I’m relaxed because we’ve had a good week and we’re ready for this game.”

What advice would you give Totti over his future?

"That’s Totti’s decision. He has been playing very well, he’s a phenomenon. For me it’s always a pleasure to see a player like him on the pitch.”

Madrid have failed to go through against Italian teams 8 times?

"There 2 two games. We want to go through to the next round. We’re going to give it everything we’ve got. What is in the past is in the past. My obligation is to look to the future.”

How is Marcelo?

"Marcelo will only play if he’s 100% fit. He has to get a good night’s sleep and then we’ll see. I think he’ll be able to play. But for a game like this in a competition like this you have to be 100%.”

Is this a special competition for you?

“It’s a special competition for the club, for me and above all for the players. We all know the special history we have in the Champions League. The most important thing is that we are ready and we are. We are in good shape physically. We’ll give it everything."

Kuna club nyingine ninaona bila kuitaja Real Madrid wanaona kama mchezaji wao hatanunuliwa kwa bei kubwa.., ni club gani ilitoa hiyo €60m wakaikataa.., yaani AC Milan ndio wamepotea hivyo mpaka kutafuta kick kupitia Madrid! ! Ni juzi tu walisema kua Ancelloti angebaki Madrid angemnunua Bacca.., Hawa watu wana matatizo..

l am convinced will have a great game today.., Roma wana team nzuri., ila sisi tuna team nzuri zaidi..

Nimewaangalia juzi kwenye game yao ya serie A, glad Marcelo is back.
