The Telegraph: Lewandowski is ready to leave Bayern and spurn the advances of Arsenal, Man United and City to join Real Madrid, his dream club.

Official:

Real Madrid have submitted their appeal to FIFA against the transfer embargo handed to them by world football’s governing body.

It is estimated that FIFA’s Appeal Committee will reach a verdict within 4 to 6 weeks.

As the decision is due before the punishment takes effect on 1 July, Los Blancos have opted against seeking to have it suspended while the body examines their matter.

Considering the precedents applicable to this case, it is expected that the Committee will uphold the sanction.

If Real’s FIFA appeal is unsuccessful, the club will go to the Court of Arbitration for Sport. As it is unlikely that the CAS would come to a resolution before this summer’s transfer window starts, Madrid would in this case ask for the interim suspension of their ban.

Were the Bernabéu outfit to have their embargo put on hold, they would be able to register signings in the close-season. If the CAS then maintained their ban, however, they would be unable to bring players in in January and summer 2017.

Denis Cheryshev is reportedly pushing to leave Real Madrid as he wants to find a club where he will play more regularly.

The Russia winger is on the fringes at Santiago Bernabeu and Spanish sources claim Liverpool, Valencia and Villarreal are interested this January.

But he has to be allowed to leave Madrid first, having earlier in the season been prevented from going to Valencia by then-Coach Rafa Benitez.

Villarreal, the club at which Cheryshev played on loan last season, are said to be hopeful of getting him on a similar arrangement until the summer.

The report goes so far as to say Cheryshev ‘feels let down’ by his lack of playing time and would like to be at a new club for the start of next season.

The legacy might come to an end this summer after Iker Casillas being told that he won't wear the No 1 jersey at the European Championship. David De Gea will start ahead of the legendary Veteran Goal Keeper. Iker Casillas was happy for David De Gea.

Iker has played in 25 games this season for Porto and has 15 cleansheets showing the Spanish coach he still has a lot to offer.
