Official: Malaysian investigators conclude missing airliner hijacked!

Official: Malaysian investigators conclude missing airliner hijacked!

The escape velocity from earth is 40,248 km/ h. The Boeing 777 top speed is 950 km/h.

Moreover, to escape the earth's gravity, one need not only be travelling at more than 40,248 km/h , but also be travelling away from the earth (not "horizontally" above the surface of the earth as airplanes do).

In any case, passenger airlines hardly go above 42,000 feet. The cabin pressure will not permit flying higher. The most sophisticated B-52 bombers can go up to 56,000 feet, which is not even above the ozone layer, a little bit under twice the height of Mount Everest.

Whoever posed that theory does not understand how gravity works, and what is needed to attain escape velocity.

mh...ok! good lesson. asante...

I am not too much into assuming, but since you asked, it wouldn't surprise me to hear that the plane crashed suddenly on it's original flight path.

If that is the case, then the family of the Iranis is owed an apology, because everybody and their grandma was jumping to the conclusion that simply because you have two Irani guys onboard, with questionable passports, then terrorism must be involved.

Occam's razor principle should apply here.

That is probably the most viable assumption. But what could have caused the total disappearance of the plane(no fragments) japo nimesikia jesh la china limedai kuona picha(satellite) ya vitu wanavyodai huenda vikawa vipande vya ndege hiyo.

Intentionally pilots waliizamisha ndege baharini tena nose dive

I know we are trying to guess but do you think that could make us not having even an idea as where is the plane for 5 days. Can you build up the scenario for us.

Ni swala la muda tu itapatikana hiyo ndege

Let's hope so, but do you know what is the major concern of most of the people? Ni siku ya 5 sasa hakuna anayejua kilichotokea. This is not as simple as some people could think of it.

So many theories out there, kuna article 1 ya wall street journal inasema inwezekana ndege hiyo iliendelea kuwa hewani kwa saa 4 tangu kupoteza mawasiliano na aridhini.(CNN)
Dah! Tutasikia mengi sana.

On Sunday 9th 2014 in the morning, T.B. Joshua said this concerning the missing Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370: “The plane concerned is deep inside the sea. Some of the particles will be seen on the surface of the sea any moment from now.

“May their souls rest in peace. We pray the Lord gives the family and loved ones the strength to bear the loss. Our prayer and love are always with them, the nation of Malaysia and other countries who had passengers on this flight.”

A terror group from Malaysia plotted in the weeks after 9/11 to attack an airplane using explosives hidden in their shoes, according to a former terrorist who claimed to have supplied the bomb.

Saajid Badat, a British national and terrorist-turned-government witness, told a New York court Tuesday that he met the group of Malaysians, which included a pilot, in late 2001 and claimed they planned to blow open a plane’s cockpit door in order to carry out a 9/11-style hijacking.

Badat said he had two shoe bombs for his own terror plot before he gave one to the Malaysians for their “operation.” Badat wore the other as he flew from Karachi, Pakistan to Holland and from there to England in December 2001. He did not detonate the device on those flights, he said, because he wanted to save it for an attack on an American airline – an operation he was planning with now-convicted shoe bomber Richard Reid.

Once in the U.K., however, Badat said he backed out of his operation after speaking with his parents, leaving Reid to go it alone. Reid was arrested after he failed to detonate explosives hidden in his shoes while aboard American Airlines Flight 63 on Dec. 22, 2001.

Badat was arrested in England in 2005 and pleaded guilty to a count of “conspiracy with others to destroy a passenger airliner whilst in flight by igniting a high-explosive device,” according to British authorities.

For whatever reason, it appears the Malaysia plot never went ahead. Badat did not name the group in question in his testimony and the National Counterterrorism Center does not list any major terrorist groups being based in Malaysia. Department of Justice prosecutors declined to elaborate on Badat’s testimony and the CIA declined to comment. A senior intelligence official would only say American intelligence was “aware of the Malaysia 2001 plot.”

In 2006, then-President George W. Bush said that in October 2001, Khalid Shaikh Mohammad, the so-called mastermind of the 9/11 attacks, had "set in motion" another plan to hijack planes, this time using terrorist recruits from Southeast Asia. Bush said the operation was foiled when one of the plotters was arrested in Asia. At the time, however, several counter-terrorism officials said the plot was not "definitive" and never got past the "thought" stage.

James Keith, former U.S. Ambassador to Malaysia, told ABC News Tuesday that Malaysia is not known as a harbor for terrorists and that country’s biggest threat when it comes to extremism comes in the form of spillover from its neighbors. For instance, Indonesia, to Malaysia’s south, is home to Jemaah Islamiya, the terrorist network blamed for a string of attacks in the 2000s including the 2002 Bali bombings, which claimed 202 lives. In recent years that organization has been “overshadowed” by splinter groups, according to the NCTC’s profile of the group.

Badat’s testimony comes as authorities in Malaysia are desperately trying to figure out what happened to Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, which disappeared with 239 people on board in clear weather without explanation Saturday. So far authorities said they have discovered no evidence to suggest terrorism played a role in the growing mystery and top local, international and American officials have downplayed that possibility. Still, CIA Director John Brennan said Tuesday his agency has “not at all” ruled it out.

When asked Tuesday about al Qaeda’s presence in Malaysia, Brennan told the Council on Foreign Relations that the terrorist network extended “throughout Southeast Asia,” but did not specifically discuss Malaysia beyond saying, “There’s never been a place on the globe where al Qaeda said that they were not going to seek some type of presence.”

Badat was testifying in a New York court via video link from London for the trial of Sulaiman Abu Ghaith, the son-in-law of Osama bin Laden. Ghaith, who appeared at bin Laden’s side in propaganda videos following 9/11, is charged with conspiracy to kill U.S. nationals and providing material support to terrorists. He has pleaded not guilty.

Chinese internet users have mocked reports that the Malaysian government invited a witch doctor to help look for the missing plane.

Malaysian media reported that Ibrahim Mat Zin, a famous bomoh (shaman) also known as the Raja Bomoh Sedunia Nujum VIP, performed a prayer at Kuala Lumpur's airport on Monday to help locate flight MH370, allegedly at the invitation of one of the country's top leaders.

"I think the plane is still in the air or has crashed into the sea," he was quoted by Free Malaysia Today as saying.
Cynical weibo users ridiculed the conclusion. "Wow, that is exactly what I think too," one wrote, a sentiment shared by many.

One user who claimed to be Malaysian wrote: "I feel so ashamed as a Malaysian for the first time, not because of any wrongdoing on Malaysia's part but for having a brainless prime minister." The message concluded: "Stop losing Malaysia's face!"

Many expressed astonishment that spiritual methods were being considered in the hunt for the plane as the operation entered its fifth day.

"China deployed 10 satellites, Malaysia deployed a few witch doctors," another weibo user pointed out.
Jamil Khir from the Malaysian Prime Minister's Department had earlier said the government welcomed any help in tracing flight MH370, including from bomohs, as long as their methods did not contravene the practices of Islam, Free Malaysia Today reported.

Muslims make up more than half of Malaysia's population of 22.7 million people. Bomohs are respected for their spiritual power by many in the country.

The Raja Bomoh, who has been practising for 50 years, rose to fame after offering his services in the search for victims in several major disasters in Malaysia, according to the newspaper.

These include the 1994 Highland Tower tragedy, in which a housing complex collapsed and killed at least 48 people, and the flooding in the Kuala Dipang region in 2012.

The Rajah Bomoh said he employed bamboo binoculars as one of his spiritual tools. He added that he would go back to the airport to perform another prayer in two days.

It is not unusual in parts of Malaysia for politicians to turn to shamans.

More than 200 people in the country were defrauded of a total of more than 23 million yuan (HK$30 million) in 2012 in cases involving bomohs.

No need for the ridicule, this is clearly a sign of desperation now after so many days of frantic searching. We all need to understand and bear with them.

CNN)
-- A Chinese satellite probing the mysterious disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 "observed a suspected crash area at sea," a Chinese government agency said -- a potentially pivotal lead into what thus far has been a frustrating, fruitless search.

China's State Administration for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense announced the discovery, including images of what it said were "three suspected floating objects."
The objects aren't small: 13 by 18 meters (43 by 59 feet), 14 by 19 meters (46 by 62 feet) and 24 by 22 meters (79 feet by 72 feet). For reference, the wingspan of an intact Boeing 777-200ER like the one that disappeared is about 61 meters (200 feet), and the plane's overall length is about 64 meters (210 feet).
The images were captured around 11 a.m. on March 9, the day after the plane went missing, but weren't released until Wednesday.
The Chinese agency gave coordinates of 105.63 east longitude, 6.7 north latitude, which would put it in waters northeast of where it took off in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and south of Vietnam, near where the South China Sea meets the Gulf of Thailand.

Kwa wale wapendwa vipi hii ishu TB Joshua hajaitabiri or it was beyond his power ya kutabiri...
