We have concluded the day’s campaign activities in Sironko District, where we held our final rally. Our engagements were preceded by repeated provocations by regime security forces who subjected our supporters to excessive force, including tear gas, live bullets, electrocution(tasing) and other disproportionate violations.

In one grave incident, our comrade Hamuza Lubuulwa sustained critical injuries to the head following an attack by Joint Anti-Terrorism operatives who have persistently trailed us since campaigns began. They had first shot shot at his vehicle and disabled it before pouncing upon and beating him.

We express our gratitude to the people of Bugisu for their courage and resilience despite the intimidation. Thank you, Bamasaba. Mwanyala Nabi.

An eventful day of intense campaigning in Amudat and Napak Districts, Karamoja sub region. We reassured our people of Karamoja that once we ascend to power, poverty shall be a mystery as we shall translate their mineral wealth into a point of progress for their indigenous people.

We were however unable to proceed to Moroto after encountering the regime police that blocked us from Amudat Trading Center.

🚩At Kajjansi Clays playground in Busiro South where we delivered our message of liberation. The provocative regime security operatives deployed their usual repressive tactics to break the spirits of our people and prevent them from attending our final rally.

We have also witnessed many violent scenes through out the journey, of regime security operatives brutalizing citizens carrying the National Flag. Despite all this, we have been able to preach our gospel of regime change and rallied our people to turn up in large numbers next week and cast their vote in support of the umbrella symbol.
