Nikola Tesla and Albert Einstein were two of the greatest scientists of all time, but they often worked in opposition to each other rather than together in cooperation.

To Tesla, the Theory of Relativity was just “a mass of error and deceptive ideas violently opposed to the teachings of great men of science of the past and even to common sense”.

Tesla and Einstein both contributed much to society, but if they had worked together in a more cooperative manner one can only imagine what they would have accomplished. Tesla understood ether theory a lot better than Einstein did, but Tesla also did not truly understand the ramifications of Einstein’s famous equation E=mc2.

Undoubtedly, the most intriguing disagreement between Tesla and Einstein was whether or not anything can travel faster than light.
