Nairobi commuter rail has accomplished a new fete in the first 2 months of operation, it managed to carry 20,000 commuters daily up until December 22nd. Remember these are only 5 sets of DMUs . Hourly services will begin in January after the other 6 sets of DMU arrive.

scania Kenya has started assembling these buses to be used for last mile connection on the nairobi commuter rail. The buses have met all guidelines for NAMATA (Nairobi metropolitan area transport authority) and Nms (Nairobi metropolitan services).
The buses are assembled in Mombasa.

I left out the name BRT because unlike the dar or bogota system, the buses in kenya will be used for last mile connectivity from train stations to your last destination like in europe.
