Not that I am a "Mtaalamu wa software" to speak of...

A legal and preinstalled alternative Word Processor to get you going while you await a permanent solution (Whether you buy or "liberate" MS Office) is available through WordPad.

If you do not want to deal with illegally obtained copies of MS Office, pressures of activating and Trojan horse infected cracks, you can use a free Office like suite called OpenOffice, it does everything MS Office does, it is compatible with Windows and Office, and on top of all it is freely available.

    OpenOffice is available at

I refuse to provide tips on illegally obtained software, and would hate to see you buying MS Office unnecessarily.

Jaribu AbiWord free and small for basic editing and you can open/save as word .doc

Otherwise OpenOffice kama alivyosema Pundit. Or ingia duka lolote la compyuta kama uko bongo watakuchomea copy ya Office.
