Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti played down talk of a possible late Premier League title charge following Monday night's 3-1 win at Blackpool.
John Terry put the visitors in front midway through the first half with a header at Bloomfield Road before the introduction of Salomon Kalou in the 55th minute at the expense of the injured Didier Drogba turned the game decisively in the Blues' favour.

Kalou won the penalty, drawing a foul from Ian Evatt, which allowed Lampard to score from the spot in the 62nd minute and then played in the England midfielder for his fourth goal in as many matches four minutes later.
The result lifted Chelsea to within nine points of Manchester United with a match in hand but Ancelotti said they were not looking beyond their March 20 clash with top-four rivals Manchester City.
"The game was not easy. Blackpool were in the game until we scored the penalty and also at the end they were pressuring us a lot and we could not relax," said the Italian.
"Our performance was good in general, we showed some good football and we deserved to win.
"Our aim at this moment is to stay in the top four. We are closer to Manchester United but we have to prepare for the next game and prepare game by game.
"Now we have nine points and another game (in hand) against Birmingham but it is too far to think we can come back in to fight for the title.

"To take it game by game is easier for us."
Fernando Torres, who started up front alongside Torres, has now gone five matches, a total of 406 minutes, without scoring for Chelsea but Ancelotti insists he is not concerned.
"He is showing good movement; he showed good movement with Drogba in the first half," said the Italian.
"I think they played well, it was a good combination at the start of the game.
"I didn't ask them to play closer, I wanted them to spread the Blackpool defence.
"It is important he works for the team and he is doing that now and game by game he will improve and he will score.
"We are happy about his performance. He is a top scorer and he will score, this is not a problem."
Blackpool boss Ian Holloway, whose side have won just once in nine matches and are just two points above the bottom three, was unhappy with Mike Dean's penalty decision which he felt took the game beyond them.
"I've watched it again and he (Kalou) couldn't wait to go down, that is this level," he said.
"The minute Ian Evatt even thought about going for it Kalou couldn't wait and the referee couldn't wait to give it but he has actually played the ball eventually.
"It shows the quality they have got. We are a bit sore because we didn't feel we deserved that, we deserved to be less than two goals away from them.
"We needed something to give us a bit of belief, we needed the second goal in the game but unfortunately they got it."
