Arsene Wenger insists the Premier League is Manchester United's to lose even though Arsenal control the route to the title.
If the Gunners win each of their remaining 11 games, starting with Sunderland at Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon, they will be crowned champions.
Arsenal trail United by four points with a game in hand and the May Day showdown in north London between the title rivals looks to be pivotal.
But Wenger insists that as leaders, Sir Alex Ferguson's men remain in the driving seat.
"No, it's not ours to lose, it's United's to lose. If you look at the bookmakers, they favour United," he said.
"Mathematically it's in our hands but that doesn't mean that it's our to lose because if you look at the fixtures, we have difficult games.
"And I would say exactly the reverse: it's ours to win more than ours to lose, because they are in a leading position.
"So it's down to us, to our good behaviour, to win it.
"I don't count too much on United feeling the pressure. I count more on my team than on any weakness of them."
Arsenal's cause was given an enormous shot in the arm with United's defeat by Chelsea in midweek.
"It was all United in the first half and all Chelsea in the second," said Wenger.
"When Chelsea stepped it up, you could see it coming, especially after Wayne Rooney missed the chance to make it 2-1.
"You cannot say United's form has been poor - they have been dominant at home - and we should not expect any weakness from them."
Aaron Ramsey is included in the squad for Saturday's game and could make his first Arsenal appearance since breaking his leg at Stoke in February last year.
Wenger says Ramsey is showing no lingering after-effects from the injury and stresses his case is different to that of Eduardo.
"Eduardo had problems with the limitation of his ankle mobility when he came back - he was not able to bend his ankle completely when running at full speed," he said.
"He needed second surgery, but Aaron has no limitations in his movement.
"I don't see any problems with Ramsey's commitment in tackles."

epl2nba,
"On the other hand, clinical finishing any of the SOG would eliminate the need for a crutch from calls. Until Arsenal learn to close teams out they will be 2nd best at best." That's it on a nutshell. If they took care of business, ref calls and luck could be damned. They still would come way ahead of everyone else. Some people doesn't understant that at all. I say the same thing of all the games we have drawn this season. It shocks me that we are on top with all those dropped points.
Forgive me for being a wet blanket but w/ recent injuries coupled w/ missed opportunitties for both EPL climb and Silverware it feels like the makings of another Springtime for Collapse. I thought Feb revealed telling signs and Arsenal did well, but just the moment they tease us for greener pastuers they find a sinkhole. Whether or not it's w/ the aid or obstacles from favorable/bad REF calls, there does seem to be simply a collective "unlucky" karma much in the same way ManU get favorable "lucky" benefit of the doubt calls(most of the time).

Spudkiller: no - we have had more this season in a three week period at once than last season due to replays: add it up. There have been plenty of managers this season that complained about the crowding of the fixture list: Steve Bruce is right as well about the timing of events.
Gunnerkidd: you can't play every three days like this. Thats what I meant.
Arsenal played with some intent for 15mins out of 90.that's about it>If you are satisfied with the result then that's on you but you won't win squat with performances like that.
Spudkilla....thank you at least some1 on here knows a thing or two about footy
Also we gave ourselves most of those unnecessary fixtures by not killing of teams the first time around.Like everyone been saying all season we have a soft underbelly if you press us we will collapse.

Spudkilla: too many fixtures. I know that some of those were self-inflicted injuries, but too many fixtures make all of the players tired. They showed that today.
