Kila mkuu na zama zake.....
Look at this... Mrema started on a high pitch but now he is counting hours. Prof Lipumba had great ideas but he has overstayed in the race.
emerging democracies like ours, are quite unpredictable. Distressed or disillusioned people ( tena wengi) are very impatient. They want results now. Ndio maana, they hardly bother to read ilanis, constitutions etc. what they all do is to concentrate on personalities that carry headlines of the day and if there is any perception of hope from those headlines, they rally behind the personality .
But, the personality must deliver, fast, otherwise he or she degenerates to oblivion. Hiyo ndio trend. Ndio maana, nchi Kama marekani, ukigombea Mara moja urais ukakosa, chama chako haziwezi kukupa nafasi nyingine.
The world and Tanzania is changing very fast. Lets ask ourselves, how many cellphones have we changed not because the previous one was not working! The same holds true with political leadership. It's part of human nature especially the younger generation to look for new things, faces, ideas even the way of doing things. In short, change at the helm of our political parties is inevitable if you resist you will only be swept out unceremoniously
tutafakari!
