Regional integration is inevitable my friend. The sooner we accept it the better. I think the American states developed to where they are thanks to their unity. None of the states was significant before the union.
And i think people like you should give Tanzania due credit. Don't you trust that we can do this?
Remember that the federal government will ONLY be in charge of things like defence, foreign affairs, international trade and wait for it INFRASTRUCTURE. Central corridor yetu itakuwa more feasible if done by the EA federation. Tulilalamika land wakasema sawa watatuachia (it will be under the control of individual states).....natural resources pia kila mtu atabaki na vyake. Tumepewa hata chance ya kuhost the EA federal capital. Imagine the structures that will come up in Arusha if the EA federation comes to fruition?!
I dont know about you but i'd like to see future young Tanzanians maybe go to Kenya for secondary education then go to Makerere University FREELY!
All statistics so far point to the fact that Tz has been the biggest gainer so far of the EA federation.
But we just have to strengthen our private sector first. Give it time to mature. Once that is done, i don't see why we should be the odd ones!
