MANCHESTER UNITED have begun the search for their next manager after Alex Ferguson told the board: "One more season and I'm out."
Fergie will go in the summer of 2011, six months before his 70th birthday.
But Old Trafford sources insist his replacement has yet to be decided.
United are canvassing opinion among leading football figures about who would be the best man for the job and Fergie will also have an input.
Jose Mourinho, currently in charge of Inter Milan, is the favourite.
However, there are those at United who are not convinced that he is the right man.
On the one hand the former Chelsea boss has a proven track record for winning titles and could clinch a second Champions League this season.
However he is seen as a short-term type of boss who is always looking to the next job.
Ferguson has built a dynasty at Old Trafford stretching over 25 years.

Pale Berca hana maisha marefu.

Sir Alex Ferguson Hails Future Stars As Manchester United Claim Reserve League Title
Promising youngsters have been well managed by Solskjaer & Joyce...
By Zack Wilson

Manchester United's reserve team sealed the Premier Reserve League North title on Tuesday night, and club boss Sir Alex Ferguson has been quick to praise the work done by reserve team coaches Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Warren Joyce.

The Scot also believes that there are some future stars in the United reserve line-up, and pinpointed Northern Irish youngsters Corry Evans and Oliver Norwood as particular players to watch out for.

"Some of the players have done very well," he told United's official website.

"For example, in the 1-0 win against Liverpool, the back four were absolutely brilliant, they really did well. One or two younger players are developing quite well. Gabriel Obertan scored an unbelievable goal.

"Oliver Norwood and Corry Evans do really well and have a good attitude towards the game. That's an important thing and Ole and Warren have maintained that attitude right through the team."

Ferguson also hailed the manner in which Solskjaer and Joyce have coped with the often tricky demands of managing a reserve side at a top club.

"I'd like to say congratulations to Ole and Warren. They've done a great job," he added.

"Whenever we've appointed a new reserve team coach, I've always explained to them what a difficult job it is because it's subject to what I need.

"I may pull out three or four players from a training session or I might say, ‘these players can't play for you on Thursday because they're on standby for me on Saturday'. So it's a difficult job.

Matokeo ya Liverpool yamewawezesha reserves wetu kuchukua kombe doesn't that sound nice?

As long as tumeshapata striker (Henandez), na beki yule frm Fulham, sidhani tunahitaji serious signing again this season, kama viungo tunao wengi sana, mind you Hagro na Anderson next season wanatarudi inshalaaah. Replacement ya B'bu pale OT ni balaa, sijui nani aje. Though frm the UK pt of view i prefer Harry na Moyes. O'Neil is a flop, Mourihno ile kichwa banaa mhhh...,mda flani kama 'nati' zinakuwa zimelegea hivi, inahitaji moyo kuwa na meneja kama yle ktk timu.

Fergie - I am not retiring

United boss laughs off quit rumours

Last updated: 23rd April 2010

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has laughed off talk that he might retire at the end of next season.
Reports earlier this week claimed Ferguson
was set to confirm his retirement at the end of the 2010/11 campaign.
However, Ferguson has moved to dispel the rumours, insisting his health will determine when he finally quits Old Trafford.
"It is rubbish," said Ferguson.
"There is no truth in it.
"I have no intention of retiring and if I did the people I would tell are (chief executive) David Gill
and the Glazer family."
Ferguson is battling with Chelsea
for the Premier League title and he is adamant he can handle the pressure of managing at the highest level.
"It is what you have to accept in life," added Ferguson.
"There is pressure in life. I can deal with it.
"The only thing that determines whether I stay here is my health. And I am in rude health."

Mashetani wenzangu leo tuna kibarua kigumu cha kuwachapa Spurs, eti wanajinfanya wanafunga vigogo.
Goodluck to us!

Natumaini tutashinda, hata Spurs wenyewe wanajua hilo. Goodluck guys...
