Good idea. But do not forget Eid holidays cannot be fixed before hand as the date is fixed one night before Eid depending on if the moon is sighted and all Mullahs agree that they have seen it, which is not very often. In countries where clouds are around more often than in Arabia, this is a problem. So many observe on different days. Not an easy job for all Muslims to agree on anything that important. I am refering to Eid-ul fitr. So many muslims will tell their employers to have a day off on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Not an easy task to plan for them.

While i reside here and would respectfully agree to Moslems given more religious freedom, this is a long stretch,as UK is notoriously a christian society.
Especially with the EU referendum pushed by UKIP at the moment this will only fuel the conservatives to close more doors to this great nation.
And i could sense conservatives pointing out that in Moslem countries religion freedom is not given to non moslems let alone public holidays.

I think your remarks does not reflect the truth at all.

Recently polls suggested that MAJORITY of Uk population has NO RELIGION AT ALL.

And Its the only.Muslims and few hindus who care about their religion affairs!

Others dont care at all.
And for the few Christians left in UK!
