Ni vema ukachangia kwa lugha itakayoeleweka kwa wasomaji wengi. Tukirudi kwenye mada, mkuu wa usalama nchini Bw Othman alimtembelea Balali Marekani alipokuwa hospitalini. Huyu ndiye anayejua kila kitu kuhusu Balali.

The Bank of Tanzania issues are still relevant and need to be dealt with if this country is to move forward. These so called leaders/officials who have contributed their time and efforts in worsening the corruption in Tanzania for the past 30 years, if their crimes, fraudulent activities are not brought in front of the public, than it gives them complete freedom to continue to sustain their status QUO of corruption. Bank of Tanzania, the AG, & their lawyer friends are all taking part in the most expensive legal suit in Dar's history which was already final/conclusively determined in 2003. But the former AG, flagrantly disregarded the rule of law, and subverted the judgement from the highest court of the land, in the same year. Allowing the suit to continue by placing it in front of a judge who was previously involved in the original suit as a lawyer for one of the business partner.

(The Judiciary and the police of Tanzania are rated the most corrupt in the recent East African bribery index).

This past Monday, November 14, there was another hearing on this so called invalid, unconstitutional suit, (a project) against a dead man, of fewTZ officials&friends, the Judge was a NO SHOW. All this did was to allow the invalid, unconstitutional suit to continue. Hearing delayed for the past 6 years, and JUSTICE DENIED for the past 20 years. Imagine that. Of the 50 years of independence of this country, the past 21 years have been spent on this suit that was already final determined in 1992. WHO benefitted? The few officials and their friends, who continue to bill and invoice the Bank for their services. Its a daylite robbery in progress, scam of the century. Yet no one cares to stop it because its their cash cow.

The AG's office is top enforcer of law and justice in the country, and that office has been the one flagrantly disregarding and subverting ALL rulings, Judgements from the highest court of the land.

The most absurd thing is that the Bank of Tanzania actually commissioned an independent report on this matter, and paid almost a million dollars for it, but that report never reaches the AG's desk. WILLFULLBLINDNESS. Allowing case to continue......

The only time ACCOUNTABILITY/RESPONSIBILITY was enforced in this country, was during this case, in 2002, when the high court issued an arrest warrant for the late gov. Balali, for not obeying any rulings, judgements of the court. Mr. Balali appeared in court and on the advice of his lawyer, Mr. Mkono, paid a fine and continued not to obey any court rulings/judgements. Allowing case to continue so billing and invoicing continues at the Bank. Forever OPEN draft.

This special project of the few&mighty is costing the Tanzanian taxpayer UNNECESSARILY!! Report after report concluded that rule of law should be obeyed, that the COA judgement should be obeyed. Report after report, concluded that the costs of this case are being unbearable to the country and to the Tanzania taxpayer. BUT again willfullblindness. No one cares to stop it because its their cash generating machine.
The most ridiculous aspect is that the Tanzania ppl are paying for this robbery where their own money is being looted.

Issues do not die when a person dies, the government of Tanzania has determined that. They are continuing a case against a dead man, which has been already determined by their highest court, the court of appeals.
