Hiyo ni mara ya kwanza tangu mlipuko wa Ugonjwa wa #Ebola kuripotiwa kuanza Nchini Uganda, Septemba 2022 ambapo kifo cha mtu huyo kinafanya waliofariki kwa Ebola kufikia 19.
Baada ya kuanza kuonesha dalili alianza kupata matibabu kwa dawa za kienyeji badala ya kwenda hospitali, alifikwa na umauti baadaye alipokuwa amelazwa katika Hospitali ya Kiruddu.
Waziri wa Afya wa Uganda, Jane Ruth Aceng amesema mtu huyo alikutana na watu 42 kabla ya kifo chake ambao wameanza kufuatiliwa.

First Ebola Death Recorded In Kampala
Kampala has recorded its first Ebola-related fatality since cases of the virus were reported in parts of Uganda in September this year.
According to Uganda's Health Minister Jane Ruth Aceng, the victim, a man, allegedly came into contact with the virus from its epicentre in Uganda's central region.
Cumulative deaths in Uganda now stand at 19 according to Aceng.
After developing various symptoms, the victim is reported to have sought out traditional remedies, at another location instead of going to a modern and well-equipped facility.
The victim, who is said to have been in critical condition, passed away at Kiruddu National Referral Hospital on Friday.
Uganda's Health Ministry has since established that the deceased came into contact with 42 people prior to his death.
According to Aceng, the Ministry has already begun tracing the 42 individuals who might have been exposed to the virus.
Aceng likewise added that all medical personnel who attended to the victim wore appropriate protective equipment to not only protect themselves but to prevent further spreading of the infectious disease.
