The police force Hq should modernise and reform itself in terms of operations of todays policing and say bye to the days of beat cops or the warlord look in their land rovers and slinging of AKs thats an Assault rifle it has a beating zone( thats why no scope for aimed shots) imagine a robbery in azikiwe street around 1600hrs the collateral damage that those weapons can cost is beyond imaginable im still surprised to see them in the streets in short thats a war time weapon not a peace time( unless there is something IGP Mwema is not telling us it seems our forces adapt most from the brits why not go the full circle and form;

my suggestion would be to form a police force association fund where the area known to all as oysterbay police to turned into a complex(proper shopping mall,appartments offices e.t.c )yet maintain the police station .All the proceed of that venture will go directly to the police force fund of which administered correctly will be used to supliment the force with things the central government cant do even lead them to be more independant
i think,then again what do i know im just a mzalendo
