we loose our calories for nothing. there is a say in swahili "kukimbiza upepo" that you will never win, likewise thinking of someone who does not deserve "does not think of you in return" will never win. We better take care of our souls, getting hold on God and let go of those who hurts us.

You don't deserve to be hurt at all. Just learn to "release" some people out of your life. That poor soul is just for God and few loyal people God blesses us with, not for those who hurt us. Your destiny isn't tied to them anymore. Just say " it was good having you, thanks for everything" and then move out and see what life has in store for you. Sometimes we find the good in goodbye.
