The team peaked last year, now they seem to be on the downswing. They are way too reliant on Messi and highly in debt. They need at least one world class defender let alone someone who can carry over after Xavi (who wont be around too long seeing as he is getting there with age). Problem is they probably cant buy unless they sell first since they just spent so much on Sanchez and Fab. With all that put together maybe Pep sees leaving while on top as the best option before things get rough. But then again they are still a fantastic team.
