Jerry Robert Kajuga was the national president of the Hutu extremist militia, the Interahamwe,[SUP][1][/SUP] which was largely responsible for perpetrating the Rwandan Genocide in 1994.
Ironically, he was from a Tutsi[SUP][2][/SUP] family whose father had acquired Hutu identity papers for his family. In order to avoid any kind of suspicion about their family being Tutsi, Robert Kajuga kept his brother hidden at the Hôtel des Mille Collines in Kigali.

Kajuga fled Rwanda in 1996, taking refuge in nearby Congo for 2 years, before being arrested by UN Security forces and standing trial in Kigali and being sentenced to life imprisonment for war crimes.

When you have a different notion from the leadership, you will either be imprisoned on false accusations, kidnapped and tortured or arrested and killed. This is not only in Rwanda but in almost all over African countries. It has developed strong roots even in the once named "an island of peace".

Mkuu huwezi kumuondoa PK madarakani kwa nguvu bila kumwaga damu. Kagame kumdhihaki Kikwete lilikua ni kosa lakini haliwezi kulipwa kwa kumwaga damu za watu. Ni suala la mda tu hayo mambo yataisha lakini ukimwaga damu za watu ndo hzimemwagika hivyo na hazizoleki. Kama Faustin Kayumba Nyamwasa na wanyarwanda wengine wanataka kumuondoa PK madarakani wapambane wao kama wao wasitumie mgogoro wa JK kama ngao kwa ajili ya umwagaji damu.
