What do u mean they havent made complaints?! Bakhressa amelalamika mpaka amechoka. Azam products are everywhere in EA nenda Rwanda Uganda Burundi ndo usiseme. I havent heard of quality issues. Wafungulie waingie and let their products speak for themselves!
Na hapo uliposema eti Tz tumelalamika azam ni substandard huo ni uongo mtupu! They wouldnt have been the number one brand if they were of poor quality!

Many Tanzanians complained about the poor quality goods provided by Azam on that thread, and scoffed their ability to provide quality pay tv services. I repeat, Tanzanians, not Kenyans made the comments...

Fastjet Tanzania is incorporated in Tanzania and per airline establishment rules in Tanzania 51% shares have to be locally owned! Ownership does not mean anything to me as long as i can have an alternative to fly to Nairobi and avoid KQ is all i want as they are too expensive i want to pay US$50 for a Dar-Nai ticket

....and why do you love coming to Nairobi so much? I would avoid flying to a country I hate like plague.

Aren't you not the same person always bashing Kenya for having foreign owned companies?.....Dude fastjet is British until you bring proof which Tanzanian owns the 51% you keep yapping about.

Fastjet is also eyeing Western tourists via a partnership with Emirates that flies twice a day plus those Kenyans that prefer US$ 50 a ticket! so not everything is lost grant them a clearance and then we will come here and talk! :A S 11:

If you spent all this energy on Air Tanzania your country would be having a national carrier.

has any of your TV companies managed to go digital migration? If not then u better shut up cause none of Kenyans know what it takes to do transmission cause u r in analogue still!

What are u talking about? Can u reframe the question to make sense to me.
Zuku is Kenyan and it has opened shops thru out east. And central Africa.
U can watch our tv channels such as Citizen, KTN,NTV,KISS,K24, KBC,EbruTv, Qtv etc. In fact all the Kenyan tv channels are on digital platform.

Kenya hasn't abandoned the Analogue (not analogy) transmission yet because some stakeholders have been embroiled in court-battle regarding the digital migration. Otherwise we would have achieved that about one year ago.

I did not know a company having over 50% shares under foreigners can be called Kenyan! That is Kenya incorporated company!

Forget about the payTV service. Its still on its baby feet. But what about the cereals, the juices, the flour, the milk, the ice creams etc?
Haven't u gone thru the comments bro? They was refering to the cereals and milk and the ice cream

wananchi group is a homegrown Kenyan company. You understand why any serious companies would seek shareholders.
This ain't no easy and chap business to run

per rules and regulations! Otherwise PW will have legally objected Fastjet Tanzania entrance in Tanzania..even if Fastjet Tanzania was owned by any Tanzanian,i would still support them since they pay tax in Tanzania as incorporated in Tanzania

Why not?At bolded 🙂 🙂
That'll be about $138m this year!

You are full of nonsense jamani! Why would 99.9 TZs boycot Jambojet and opt for Fastjet? They have absolutely no reason to do that, It is totally absurd.
Quality and cost will determine who will carry the market here, so do not be too sure.

Do not assume that every TZian is as preoccupied in seeing Kenya tumble as you.
There are numerous other goods and services they consume that are from Kenya.

i just need the reasons for jumbo jets dominance.

This allegation that KAA is stalling might actually be true, but I have no apologies. Kq flies to your country, precision flies to kenya, quid pro quo on that. So wait till jambo jet has its house on order b4 the route is opened for fast jet.

kwahyo hamuwezi kuwapa leseni hadi jumbo jet waanze operations?? huo utakuwa ni utoto wa hali ya juu

Back to the point, just received information from an informant within TCAA; Tanzanain authorities are planing to revoke Kenya's permit to land within Tanzania (that is landing permits to JNIA, KIA, ZIA) pending the launch of Fly Dubai to Kilimanjaro, Dar and Zanzibar from 17th October so as not to affect the flow of passengers! Reason being KCAA has violated BASA agreements. lawmaina78, NairobiWalker, hbuyosh

usiwe na wasi TCAA watawafungia baada ya Fly Dubai kuanza kutua kuna mtu amenidokeza

That is not the case. Those are his opinions not KCAA's or mine or any other Kenyan. Like I said, u guys should dig deeper into the matter rather than jumping into conclusions like that. Evry country has its own rules which must be adhered to. Perhaps FJ failed to fulfil certain requirements leading to this delay. They should either follow those directives set by KCAA or go to court incase of foulplay. We honestly do not support that there should be unfairness in granting licence to any business entity seeking to open its operations in Kenya cos it doesnt auger well with our reputation as destination hub for investors in EA and it also undermines the efforts by the govt to enable job creation in the country.
