Tshs 32,000 + taxes is very possible. Remember hii ni no-frills/low carrier Anatoa usafiri and nothing else. Na kwenye matangazo yao wameweka wazi kabisa bei inaanza(from) 32,000 plus govt taxes. Under this business model, bei inakuwa determined na market forces mfano: Early booking, medium used (online/offline), travel time (peak/off-peak hours) etc etc. But minimum price ni hiyo 32+ givt taxes. Sasa ni juu ya mteja kujipanga vema ili kupata bei ya chini.

I am not sure how much do you know about biashara ya anga. Kila unaporusha ndege kuna fixed number of seats ambazo ukifikia basi unakuwa umelipia gharama za kurusha that particular aircraft. What I see here, Tanzania tumekuwa victims wa bei za kuruka to such extent that hatuamini kama usafiri wa ndege unaweza kuwa bei ya chini kiasi tunachoona sasa! Tumeaminishwa kuwa usafiri wa ndege wa matajiri tu! And what I find most fascinating ni kwa watu kama wewe -unayesema umezunguka dunia -una-doubt yanayofanyika huko 'ulikozunguka' hayawezekani hapa!

No argument yangu ni distance. Ebu niambie wapi outside Tanzania ambapo distance kama hiyo ~ 800 km ni 20 USD. Mimi ndiyo argument yangu. Mimi sio mchumi wa biashara ya anga, lakini mambo mengine yanatumia common sense tu. Ukiwa na ka mwanga kidogo ka elimu unaweza bila kuwa mtaalamu wa fani hiyo kuona ukweli. Kwa bei kama hiyo hata kwa basi huwezi kumudu- Dar to Mwanza ukiweka maanani mafuta, vipuri, mishahara, kodi etc. Let us discuss. Actually mimi nitafurahi if these fares become realities. Kwenye red uko sahihi - maana distance is not the thing kinacho-determine price. Gharama za kurusha ndege 800km in Europe haziwezi kulingana na za Dar. Why? bei ya mafuta ni tofauti, mishahara ni tofauti etc?

TIP: Kwenye biashara unaweza kutumia zaidi volume ku-generate profit au ukaamua kupandisha bei. Na kama umezunguka duniani utakuwa unajua retails business zinategemea zaidi kwenye volume mfano Walmart.
