Ila personally sikumpenda kwenye American Gangster. Filamu yenyewe haifanani na majority of classic gangster films. Nadhani kama vile ili-base zaidi kwenye beauty and taste.

Nilipoenda cinema kuangalia hii filamu, I was expecting to see his dirty cop in Training Day, only to my disappointment.

I was expecting to see him kama Al Pacino kwenye Scarface na jinsi alivyoji-transform kutoka kwenye street hustler to the The Boss in the business.

Hata baada ya movie, niliyeenda nae hakuniambia "Wow" That was a great movie! Thank you so much!" kama nilivyozoea kuambiwa kwenye movies nyingine as if I was the the director of the movies. lol.

Kwa sababu hizo, American Gangster is not on my top 10 gangster movies. But hiki kipande cha "You blot that shit" always wakes me up when I fall asleep watching this movie.
