A couple found a dead rodent at the bottom of a crisp packet after eating half of the bag.
A couple found dead shrew in the bottom of a packet of Kettle Chips.
Jon and Elinor Hughes, from Conwy Valley in North Wales, were horrified to find the dead rodent at the bottom of the bag which they had originally planned to put in their nine-year-old son Finlay's packed lunch.
The couple - who had already consumed half of the crisps - quickly complained to the manufacturer who dispatched a courier to retrieve the half eaten snack and the dead animal which was later identified as a shrew.
Speaking to the Daily Post, Mr Hughes said: ''We started to eat the crisps and ate the first half of the bag. But we were absolutely horrified to find a mouse in the bottom.
''We'd been going to put the crisps with my nine-year-old son Finlay's lunch!''
