Just In: Agago Businessman Shot Dead in Fatal Robbery

An unknown gunman has shot dead a businessman identified as Morish Ocana from Kalongo Town Council, Agago North Constituency, Agago District.

RDC James Nabinson Kidega said the deceased had just locked and left his shop at around 7pm (Tuesday) when the armed robber approached him and demanded the bag reportedly containing money, which he declined to offer.

He says the assailant, believed to be armed with a pistol, then shot at him before vanishing with the bag of money.

A search is underway in the area with security staged along entry and exit points.

Kidega says it is still unclear whether the assailant was alone or had accomplices hidden somewhere.
