Phase one of Kenyas SGR has been completed and it is 100% success story.

You book for a ticket in advance because every body seem to be fighting to
get a chance to travel through this new railway line.

It is 700 kshs, 4 and half hours from Msa to Nairobi unlike buses where tickets goes
from a thousand to fifteen hundred and more than eight hour for the same journey.

This is just one of many things,,done in very short time,,by the Jubilee government.

And,, even if that is the case,,how much did this country borrow
and went,,straight to waste,,and still we are paying.

The price was reached at that figure,,not by the government of
Kenya alone,,but together with that Chinese bank which will,,somehow
,,continue running the railway even after its completion.

A ton of cargo from Msa to Nai will cost 50,000ksks half
of what was before.

This is benefiting Kenyans,,most,,more than talking about
making money out of our neighbors.


I will want Tanzania to build its own and enjoy what we are
getting from this,,,SGR.

Ours is not,,that we will do,,we will construct,,but what is happening,
now, in Kenya.

That to us SGR is not a dream,,Vindyo,, or a jock.

BUT A REALITY.

and it will never be done.

All of a sudden, phase one is complete and phase two is continuing and almost ,,
,,at Naivasha.

By 2019,,it will have passed Kisumu and reached Malaba.

“These wagons will allow for double stacking of containers during transportation.

Kenya's new railway carries 150,000 passengers since June

Kenya's Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) has transported over 150,000 passengers between Mombasa and Nairobi since it was commissioned on May 31, officials said on Thursday.
Kenya Railways will review the passenger numbers so as to increase the frequency of trains and number of locomotives in order to meet the growing demand.
