You mean alphonce from the standard? Which experts are those haha... Tjose are People looking for money... If kenya can't pay with its economy then how can Tanzania afford an even more expensive one with their economy.... Maaan come ooon! common sense counts some time, don't just believe every freaking thing you are fed in, have a time to take your opinion

Kenya is able to repay the loan in 2 years, from Passengers using economy class only! i.e those paying 700 shillings. In 2 years, they will have paid the loan. Money from cargo and other services can be used to better the rail and pay workers.

But still Kenya can repay the loan in 10 years, paying a small amount while the rest goes into the economy!!

No Day a Tanzanian will ever understand economics to Kenyan levels!

Advice to Tanzanians, Better be concerned about your Merkez line and how economical it will be. As a Kenyan, i don't care if it will make losses to you or not!!

Wonder why Tanzanians are poky in things that do not concern them!!!

Somehow????????

Can you bring forward the break down of how the fee from economy class can pay back around $4 bln (including interest) of loan from Chinese? The World Bank says Kenya cannot...!

Mkataba Maboresho Bandari ya Dar es Salaam Wasainiwa!
• Rais kuweka Jiwe la Msingi hivi karibuni
• Ujenzi wa gati jipya maalumu la Magari
• Lango la bandari kuboreshwa
• Kina cha maji kuongezwa hadi mita 15.5
• Bandari kuhudumia mzigo hadi tani Milioni 28

You may be right on this Geza, Sh 700 X 1200 Passengers X 10 (Trips per day, Five from Both Sides) X 365 days
=Sh 3,066,000,000 in a year
327,000,000,000/3,066,000,000 =101 years!!!!!!!!!!!

If factored in the TEUs
Sh. 50,000 X 160 TEU's X 30 Trips Per day(From Both Sides) X 365 days = 8,760,000,000 +3,066,000,000 =11,826,000,000

327,000,000,000/11,826,000,000 = 28 Years!!!

Even if we add the first class the minimum time this thing can be paid for is 30 years

If wear and tear is considered and payments to workers, the least time possible for repayment is 50 Years!!

Hatari hiii!!

But i don't know the maths involved in all this scenario, that is just my guess
