I posted this comment only last week, it seems you don't pay attention to the important or technical things in this thread..

Concentrate on the last column on your right side of the page.. where there is no Total freight revenue... After they subtracted all the expenses and running cost from the revenue, they did not make a profit on the first year of freight operations but what you probably did not notice is the freight revenue kept increasing every month ... By Jan2018 the revenue collected was $600k and by June the revenue was $3million and by September the revenue was $11million and by Dec 2018 the Revenue had reached $18million ... Given that historical data we can predict with a high probability that the monthly revenue will keep increasing especially when bulk cargo will be added this year, they also plan to start transporting cars this year ..

By Feb 2019, they probably collected $20m and by end of this year the monthly revenue will probably be between $30-$40m per month and of we keep it up we would probably be making $60-80m per month 3-4 years from now but let's not get ahead of ourselves...

If we do a minimum average of $20m per month for the 12moths of 2019, the revenue would more than double to $240m. Imagine what the revenue would be 5- 10 years from now $400m??? $600m??? Who knows

If you add the passenger revenue + the freight revenue it's alittle above $100m, We know that the SGR made a loss of Ksh 10 billion ($100m) last year... Which means the cost of running the SGR was $200m while revenue collected was $100m leaving a loss of $100m... But as I have shown up there we are more than likely to collect revenue of more than $240m this year so that's a profit of $40m at the very least... So I can tell you with a 90% certainty, the Kenya SGR will break even this year and prove you and all the naysayers like the likes of Ndii that this project is and was never a white elephant, it's a blue elephant and if all goes well will be paying for itself by 2020 and by 2025 it won't need help from GoK to pay back the yearly installments for the SGR loan.

Hajui by comparison Kenya airways Operating cost ni $1.05 Billion ....

Kutangulia si kufika mzee! Hata Uganda pipeline mlitangulia! Out of all Africans that attend aviation school very few come to Kenya! South Africa n Ethiopia take over 95% ! So hide ur stupidity as even majority of Kenyans in aviation take their training in either SA or Ethiopia!
