It is good to criticize. But criticism spiced with insults and or innuendo is no good criticism.
SlidingRoof has presented his thoughts and opinion. It is accepted. But his choice of words is questionable. He is somehow trying to be Mzee Mwanakiji. That is a long shot. It land anywhere.
Our problem sometimes is we attack to much and defend too much. All of us. Both of us. The so called JF-CDM and JF-CCM and the rest.
The problem with people like SlidingRoof and Waberoya is they talk and criticize while sitting on the porch on a swinging chair with a glass of good wine.
If CDM's shadow cabinet is that bad its because me and SlidingRoof, Waberoya etc are not in parliament. It is because we have left politics to those who are in it now. We can criticize them, we cant point fingers but what are we doing to help change the situation? Do we only end with criticism?
Take an example of how easy it is to say 'ooh, Ngassa should have scored....Simba must now start playing total footbal' while watching a football game on TV (not even being at the stadium). It is also easy to say, one I can still watch it just like one who is at the stadium. I can hear thos at the stadium cheering. I don't hav to scramble at the gate to get in etc...
But the reality remains, you are not in the field. You are not in the stadium. You are not actively participating in the game.
Sometimes even if one is not playing can change the or influence the game by cheering loudly. They are called the 12th man. They cheer. Those at home watchn on TV can not change or influence the game under any circumstances.
Back to the shadow cabinet, my only contribution is, they must prove that they are capable of delivering. They dont have to show that they are an alternative cabinet. They are watchdogs.
SlidingRoof, may I ask you to enlist herein the do's and dont's of shadow cabinet and lets tick each item against what the shadow ministers have achieved so far.
I beg to rest for now.
Thanks Mheshimiwa! umemaliza.
