Polisi wa Mji wa Bugiri wanawashikilia watu wawili kwa tuhuma za kumvamia mfanyabiashara kwa lengo la kumuibia pesa.
Watu hao inadaiwa walimfuatilia mfanyabiashara huyo kutoka Benki ya Centenary, tawi la Bugiri, ambapo ambapo alisemekana maetoka kutoa kiasi cha pesa cha shilingi milioni 90.
Msemaji wa Jeshi la Polisi Mashariki ya Busoga, Bwana James Mubi, alisema kuwa mfanyabiashara huyo alipofika makao makuu ya wilaya, aligundua kuwa alikuwa akifuatwa watu waliokuw wakiendesha gari aina ya Toyota Harrier, yenye namba UBF 127T.
Anaongeza kuwa kutokana na tukio hilo Bwana Mubi aliamua kuendesha gari yake kwa kasi kurudi maeneo ya Benki ili kuwa salama. ambako washukiwa walivyojaribu walijikuta wanakamatwa na askari wanaolinda Benki hiyo.
Aidha, jeshi la polisi limebainisha kuwa, wamewakamata washukiwa hao na bado upelelezi juu ya tukio hilo unaendelea.

Bugiri Police Wednesday arrested two men for allegedly trailing a businessman with the intention of stealing money from him.
The men allegedly trailed the businessman from Centenary Bank, Bugiri branch, where he had reportedly withdrawn Shs90 million.
Busoga East Police Spokesperson, Mr James Mubi, on Wednesday said that when the businessman arrived at the district headquarters, he realised that he was being trailed by suspicions people who were driving in a Toyota Harrier, Reg. No. UBF 127T.
Mr Mubi said that businessman swiftly drove back to the bank to seek sanctuary.
The suspects followed him to the bank where they were arrested because police and the management of the bank had been alerted.
Mr Mubi said they have detained the two suspects as investigations continue.
