This photo is making rounds on Social media especially X , posted by @ntalebrian22 from Uganda portraying Bruno Fernandez as a lucky person after meeting the Ugandan opposition leader on the same plane while he was from his international Break.
I suggest it's manipulated and false.

Claim
An image circulating online allegedly shows Bobi Wine seated next to Bruno Fernandes, the captain of Manchester United, on a flight.
One X (formerly Twitter) user wrote:
“Bruno Fernandes must be the luckiest person on earth… Imagine boarding a flight with President Bobi Wine. This happened when he was leaving the USA after playing Mexico and the US during the international break.”
Verdict: Misleading / Digitally altered
JamiiCheck conducted a thorough online investigation and found that the image was digitally altered to misrepresent reality. The original photo actually shows Bobi Wine seated next to Juliet Nalukenge, a Ugandan football player.
Using Google Reverse Image Search, JamiiCheck established that the original image has been online for at least two years. Further investigation indicates that the earliest known version was published in February 2024.
One X user shared the original image with the caption:
“There is always that unique Ugandan smile whenever Ugandans meet on foreign land. Bobi Wine meets Juliet Nalukenge somewhere on their way back to the Pearl of Africa.”
So, the image was manipulated by removing Juliet Nalukenge’s head and replacing it with that of Bruno Fernandes, while the rest of the image remained unchanged.
