In the year 1877, India was hit by a severe famine, known as the Madras famine, which lasted for two long years. This famine was caused by a severe drought that caused widespread crop failure and led to a shortage of food and water. Millions of people were affected, and many lost their lives as a result of starvation.

One such family affected by the famine was that of Ravi, a farmer living in a small village in Madras. Ravi had a wife and two young children, and they were struggling to survive. The famine had hit their village hard, and they had no food or water left. The only option left was to leave their home and try to find food and water elsewhere.

As they set out on their journey, they soon realized that they were not alone. There were other people like them, who were also looking for food and water. However, as they traveled further, they also discovered that there were others who were not looking for food and water, but for something else entirely.

They were cannibals.

These cannibals had resorted to preying on the weak and the vulnerable, and they saw Ravi's family as an easy target. However, Ravi was not about to let them harm his family. He had always been a fighter, and he knew that he had to protect his loved ones at all costs.

Ravi armed himself with whatever he could find – a stick, a stone, anything that could be used as a weapon. He kept a close eye on his surroundings, always on the lookout for any danger. And when the cannibals finally attacked, he fought back with all his might.

It was a fierce battle, and Ravi was outnumbered. But he refused to give up. He fought with everything he had, determined to protect his family. And in the end, he emerged victorious.

The cannibals were forced to retreat, and Ravi and his family were able to continue their journey. They eventually reached a relief camp, where they were able to get the food and water they so desperately needed.

Ravi's bravery and determination had saved his family from certain death. His story became a legend, a symbol of hope and resilience in the face of adversity. And even today, more than a century later, his story continues to inspire and motivate people to never give up, no matter how difficult the circumstances may be.
