Hamna lolote hapo. Kajiandikia mwenyewe ili apate watu kwenye maandamano yake na Lowassa.
Hiyo habari ya Bahasha hata Mnyika alikuwa nayo kitamo ila yeye alipata barua tu na kusoma ambacho tulishasikia.
Mkutano wenyewe naambiwa kuna uwezekano mkubwa Lowassa akawa mgeni RASMI. Mtu aliyesaidia kuleta RICHMONDULI badala ya kuleta umeme wa kuaminika na leo ni giza.
HATUWAAMINI MAGAMBA WOOTE HAWA. Inabidi aturidhishe vya kutosha kuwa kweli kabadilika.

The Citizen Reporter Dodoma. Kilindi MP Beatrice Shellukindo says she has received death threats after accusing the Energy and Minerals permanent secretary of fraud and corruption. The CCM parliamentarian said she had received several threatening messages on her mobile phone from unknown people, adding that she had reported the matter to the police and asked for protection.I have received many congratulatory messages from within and outside the country since producing the letter in Parliament. What worries me, however, is that I have also received text messages from anonymous senders threatening me with dire consequences, Mrs Shellukindo told state broadcaster TBC1. She added that she called the numbers, but they were not reachable. Mrs Shellukindo said, however, that she was not afraid. I am not afraid because I believe in God I believe I did the right thing, and my aim was to help our nation to overcome the power woes I did what I did in good faith, she said. But Mrs Shellukindo told The Citizen on Saturday yesterday that she did not wish to discuss the threats further. Lets just leave it at that. I dont want to comment further, she said. Meanwhile, the acting Clerk to the National Assembly, Mr John Joel, said Mrs Shellukindo had not yet formally lodged a complaint with his office. The Dodoma regional police boss, Mr Zelothe Stephen, could not be reached for comment yesterday. Mrs Shellukindos death threats claims come a few days after she produced a letter that she claimed was sent by Mr Jairo to institutions and agencies under the Energy and Minerals ministry, directing them to contribute Sh50 million each towards facilitation of the approval by Parliament of the ministrys 2011/12 budget. The government has sent Mr Jairo on compulsory leave, pending an investigation into the allegations. Chief Secretary Philemon Luhanjo told a news conference in Dodoma on Thursday that a team led by the Controller and Auditor General would investigate Mr Jairo, after which his fate would be known. A State House statement said yesterday that Mr Eliakim Chacha Maswi had been appointed acting Energy and Minerals permanent secretary. Mr Maswi moves from the Prime Ministers Office, where he was working as a deputy PS for local government. Mr Jairos troubles began on Monday when Mrs Shellukindo produced the letter when debating the ministry budget estimates, which were later withdrawn after MPs from both sides of the House spoke out strongly against the budget Mrs Shellukindo said at least Sh1 billion was irregularly raised and spent as a result of Mr Jairos directive. The ministry has successfully prepared the 2011/12 budget estimates, which have already been approved by Parliaments Energy and Minerals Committee. In finalising the process, the budget speech is expected to be tabled on July 15 and 18, reads part of the letter. The letter, signed by Mr Jairo, further says, As has been the case during the presentation of the budget speech in Dodoma, officials from the ministry and institutions under it accompany senior leaders to assist them in making clarifications during debate. In order to facilitate the smooth tabling of the budget you are requested to contribute a total of Sh50,000,000. The money should be deposited in the Geological Survey of Tanzania (GST) account No. 5051000068 NMB, Dodoma Branch. After the cash is deposited, the ministry should be informed through the DP (director of personnel) for coordination. Thank you for your cooperation, says the letter titled Contribution towards finalisation of preparations and tabling of the ministrys 2011/12 budget in Parliament in Dodoma. Mrs Shellukindo, who prayed for Gods protection before making the revelations, said the ministry had 21 departments and institutions under its wing. They include Tanzania Electric Supply Company (Tanesco), Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) and State Mining Corporation (Stamico). Mrs Shellukindo later told reporters that investigations had established that the money had already been withdrawn. Prime Minister Mizengo Pinda said when announcing the governments decision to withdraw the budget proposals that the allegations had shocked him. I was shocked to hear the report, and I am going to inform the President, who is the appointing authority, Mr Pinda told Parliament.Following the revelations, political leaders, civil society organisations, anti-corruption campaigners and academicians stepped up the pressure on Energy minister William Ngeleja and his deputy Adam Malima to take political responsibility and resign over the corruption allegations. |
