Tons of people said he wasn't gonna get out of the first rounds of the Republican party primaries and he did.

After that they said he wasn't gonna get the nomination but he did.

Then they said he had no chance in hell of beating Hillary but he did.

The guy is a survivor. Not only is he a Teflon Don...he is Houdini.

I'm done making predictions about him. He may very well be POTUS for 8 years.

Some of me doubted, but I also knew it may happen. The hate towards Hillary trumped everything. The hate towards Obama too. The latter is what got Mr Trump popular in politics. He convinced lots of people on the small states that Obama was a big mistake and Hillary will keep on taking the nation in the wrong direction. Those people in the small states is what had him winning the presidency through electoral college votes.

Part of me that doubted about him becoming potus, forgot about the electoral college.

As divisive as he was, majority of Americans wouldn't want him to be potus.

Any half decent opposition would have won against trump. Anybody like Obama or Bill Clinton would have won by landslide. Hilary Clinton was like robot. Joe Biden, Michelle Obama, Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders would all have good shout.

General Kelly alitaka hata kujiuzu nafasi yake nadhani homeland security kwasababu ya hatua ya Trump. Lakini maajabu tena Trump kamuajiri. Hilo tayari litaleta chokochoko ndani ya White House especially wale wanaojiona ni loyal kwa Trump watakapoanza kuleta maneno kwa mara nyingine. Maana lolote likitokea, watamuambia "its because of Kelly", who has proven not to be loyal before by choosing Comey's side.

General Kelly might be a good choice, whether he remains there and for how long is remained to be seen.

It is good start for Kelly to assert his authority from day one. What happens in the future, he will deal with the situation. Good start 10 out of 10. If you get sacked, you get sacked. But at least run things the right way, the way you want in your short period you are in charge.

The way Trump operates, I doubt Kelly will last any longer. Unless the dude does everything that Trump wants no matter what. Then he might survive.

Trump is not a person to be told what to do. Nothing will change that. You can not teach an old dog new tricks. We'll see how the general adjustes to Trump's demands.

I believe the hacking of the DNC computers and the FBI investigation into Clinton's controversial use of a private email server when she was Secretary of State did inflict fatal wounds on her candidacy. She probably would have defeated Trump, if all this didn't happen. However, if she won, she would more likely be a one-term president. It's extremely hard for either party in the U.S. to hold on to the presidency for four consecutive terms!
