Kwa tarifa ambazo nimezipata mchana wa leo ni kuwa,ile ndege yetu ya Air bus jana ilipata itilafu na kushindwa kutoa matairi kabla haijaruka kwenda Mwanza ,na hivyo kuwalazimu ATCL kuhairisha safari ya mwanza kwa jana.Hii iisabbisha abiria wote waliokuwa wakisubiri ndege hiyo jijini mwanza na Kilimajaro kupangishiwa nyumba katika hotel za kitalii.

Maswali ya kujiuliza ni kuwa,

1.Je zile nege zilikuwa Mpya ?

2.Gharama ambazo ATCL inainghia kila siku kuweka watu hotelini ni nani analipa.

Kwa taarifa ambazo nimezipata toka kwa wafanyakzai wa ATCL ni kuwa ATC imebakiza ngege mbili tu kwa hivi sasa.

Hata safari za comoro zomesimamishwa kwa sababu shirika la ndegela tanzania linadaiwa pesa fulani huko pesa hizo ni kutokana na shirikala community airways ambao walikuwa wameingia mkataba fulani na kampuni za huko komoro ambao malipo yake yalikuwa yanatolewa na atcl
 
Nafikiri mkuu unatakiwa kufanya uchunguzi wa kina kabla ya ku-post. Mimi binafsi mkasa mzima unaniacha hoi, kwa kuwa najua kuwa tairi huchomolewa kabla ya kutua na si kabla ya kuruka.

May be kulikuwa na hitilafu kwenye hydrolic system ambayo hutumika ku-eject matairi wakati wa kutua ama kuyakunja ikisha-take off.

N'way kunaweza kukawa na matatizo lakini tupe kisa kamili kwani hilo ni shirika la umma na si la Mataka.

Hili dege si ndio lile mkuu fulani alinipenyezea data kuwa lilikuwa "juu ya mawe" huko Venezuela, ambako ilipopatikana tenda ya kutafuta ndege wajanja wakachangamka likakarabatiwa chapchap tukaletewa!
 
Jamani mnataka wakale wapi? wakale polisi wakati wana ofisi na mnawalipa mishahara kiduchu, wamelikodisha dege bovu wakati wanajua kuwa wenye nayo wanaendelea kudai pesa hata kama halitatembea.

Halafu nimesikia pia kwamba hiyo ndege "imekuja" na rubani wake ambaye amepangishiwa chumba kwenye hoteli ya Movenpick kwa muda wote wa mkataba!!!

Utagundua kuwa wadau walishaona mapema upupu huu. Suala la rubani hilo pia tulishaliona mapema, nashukuru kwa kukumbushia hili kwani watatambua kuwa hatujasahau. Majuzi nikiwa Mwanza nililazimika kubadili flight baada ya kuelezwa mikasa inayolikumba shirika letu hili.

Wanaolimaliza shirika hili ni watanzania wasiokuwa na uzalendo. We strongly stand against them!

Mkuu uzalendo watu tunao sana, binafsi napenda kuunga mkono kila jitihada za kuliinua taifa letu kwa kuingiza kipato na nimekuwa nikitumia ATC kwa safari zangu ndani ya nchi. Tatizo kubwa ni kuwa hawa jamaa wamelala au wanatuona vilaza kiasi flani.

Mkuu udhaifu wa wengine tusiuhalalishe kuwa ni kawaida. Lazima tuhakikishe ubora zaidi ya wao. Kwanini tuwe kama wao? Hapana, hakuna anayetaka kupanda ndege mbovu labda kama hajui ukiwa angani unakuwa nusu marehemu... Sasa ukizidisha kuwa nusu ukafikia "Robo tatu" huoni inakuwa balaa zaidi?
 
Hata kununua engine Mataka imekushinda ndege imepaki mwanza leo mwezi wa ngapi madeni madeni kila mahali priority kuwalipa wenye mahoteli kwanza mnaolaza abiria hiyo airbus ikiharibika ndio basi hakuna ndege nyingine loo aibu

AIR Tanzania Corporation Limited (ATCL) has leased two aircraft from Celtic Corporation based in Canada. One of the aircraft, Boeing 737, landed in Dar es Salaam on Wednesday night, as officials of the airline described its arrival as `a new dawn` for the troubled firm to move out of the red.

‘‘This step marks the new beginning for Air Tanzania, and the start of an interim phase on our road to become cash positive and a going concern,’’ said Ali Mfuruki, Chairman of ATCL Board of Directors in a statement.

He said the two aircraft were part of the fleet transition from those owned by the firmís former strategic partner, South African Airways (SAA).

Mr Mfuruki said the newly arrived aircraft was scheduled to begin operations today. The second aircraft was expected in the country within a month, he added.

He said ATCL has been able to lease the aircraft following the decision by the government to start re-capitalisation of the troubled airline.

He further said the airline could be turned around into a profitable venture by fleet and network expansion, returning to the Air Tanzania ticket stock, rebranding and a new IT platform.

The 19-year-old planes were being leased for a two year contract at 50,000 US dollars each per month.He said the aircraft have a configuration of 16 passengers in business class and 86 in the economy.

WRONG heading by some of us hacks. ATCL has not acquired new jets. It has just leased them. They are 'mtumba', of course -- Boeing 737-200.

According to ATCL chairman Ali Mufuruki, the steps marks a new beginning for Air Tanzania. He would say that, wouldn't he?

"It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to this important occasion in the life of Air Tanzania Company, as we receive the first two Boeing 737-200 aircraft leased from Canada's Celtic Capital Corporation.

Fancy name, flowery speeches. But I am not impressed by fancy names. We have just had our noses ground in the dirt by the fancy Richmond Corporation of the US of A. It turned out to be a dud.G

What Chairman Ali should do is to avail to the press the little print at the bottom of the deal. So he said Bongo will pay 50,000 dollars a month. Question -- is it 50,000 dollars for both planes or a piece.


Because if it is 50,000 dollars for the two 'mitumba' planes then that is cool. But if it is 50,000 dollars a piece then it is a rip-off. My spies tell me the lease price is 30,000 dollars a piece. If Chairman Ali could get two 'mitumba' 737s then we will hail him for his bargaining skills.

Chairman Ali enthused about the future of ATCL. "This achievement would be made possible by several steps including a fleet expansion, a network expansion, a return to trading on Air Tanzania stock, a total rebranding exercise and a new information technology platform."

All the best to ATCL. I notice that the press was invited. Perhaps there was some booze and food to welcome the 'new' mitumba. Much back slapping and hand shaking. Still ATCL has not told us what happened to the deal with SAA.

Chairman Ali should tell Tanzanians -- are the staff of ATCL being paid decently? Because Bongo has been getting its priorities very wrong. The real workers, the producers, are paid peanuts while there is a strata in the management team which get all the goodies. That, simply, is exploitation.

I wish ATCL the best. And when things do not go well, please inform the people of Bongo. It is their corporation. The management should be available just like when they were inaugurating their 'mitumba'.

Don't go hiding around, don't go shielding yourself with nonsensical statements that say "I am not the official spokesman of the company". And don't switch off your cellphones.

DOMESTIC schedules of Air Tanzania Company Limited (ATCL) are likely to be seriously disrupted next week when the airline’s two leased Boeing 737 aircraft go abroad for mandatory intensive maintenance.

Sources told the ‘Daily News’ yesterday that the planes were going for the mandatory ‘check C’ because leasing contracts of one of them expire in December and the other in January. The leasing contracts demand that the plane should undergo a return check C which takes between four and eight weeks at a maintenance base selected by the owner of the aircraft.

This means, the schedules of ATCL would remain unstable for several months until current plans to retain the leased Boeing whose contract expire in January succeed and joins the skeleton fleet after the check C.

If ATCL’s efforts to retain the plane whose contract expires in January for one year succeed, it will then go for an ordinary ‘check C’ which is less intensive than the ‘return check C’, meaning that costs would be less.

“Costs of ‘return check C’ and ordinary ‘check C’ range between 800,000 US dollars (920m/-) and 1.5 m US dollars (1.7bn/-) depending on a number of factors including corrosion and this applies on the former check,” sources said.

The sources said that the national flag carrier would be left with two short range Dash 8 aircrafts for domestic routes and a leased Air Bus for regional flights when the two Boeing 737 leave.

The Boeing 737 which lost one of its two engines after sucking an object when it was preparing to take off at Mwanza Airport early last month was still grounded.

A few weeks ago, ATCL experienced similar disruptions when three of its planes developed technical problems and they were therefore grounded for a couple of days.

Niulipouliza nilikuwa najua kuwa SUMATRA wanahusika na masuala ya nchi kavu na majini. Lakini nia na msisitizo wangu ulikuwa kuhusu uingizaji wa vyombo visivyozidi miaka mitano nchini. Ndege ni chombo cha usafiri. Kwa nini hakihusiki na sheria hiyo? "Risk" ya ndege iliyozeeka ni kubwa kuliko basi la abiria.
