Asas is getting to me......... IMG_0615.jpg
I took my tv outdoors near my dish to add eutelsat 7e lnb together with the existing nilesat 7w/eutelsat8w
though i did not succeed in modification of the setup, i am not giving up

but i learnt something today: the starlife single lnb is outperfoming the stargold fuji lnb
i noted significant improvement in signal levels with the former so much that i left it and removed the stargold

Thanx bro for info. So do i need to patch my reciever to get arabsat and i have 90 cm dish will it work for me. How will i get this biss keys

you to need patch your receiver and easily google these keys.
but you require 180 cm prime focus dish.

how do i return the prime focuse position of my dish it has been victimised by donkeys and sheep
Mtuko2,
As given in attached photo, ensure the diameters of the fully assembled dish measures between 71 and 71.5 inches. If the diameters are not equal, the prime focal point will be misplaced and you could lose 10 to 20% in signal quality for fringe satellite reception (e.g. Nilesats). You may use steel wire to tighten the diameters A-D, B-E and C-F as per the suggested measurements. Once these three wires (diameters) meet / touch at the middle, then the original focal point of the dish will be aligned.

For the Eurostar 180Cm dish, the ratio of diameter and focal length (distance between the LNB position and the bottom of the dish) is given as:
F/D ratio = 0.38;
where: F is focal length; D is the diameter.
Therefore, since D = 180Cm, then F = 68.4Cm

Also, if dish is badly dented, first dismantle it and straighten the six petal-like plates with a light hammer. In addition, ensure the three LNB holder arms are straight. These three arms meet at the focal point. Therefore, the distance from the center of the LNB holder to the bottom of the dish should be approximately 68.4Cm.

Guys, where to get free c*s accounts? Also if possible how to set it up on srt 4922. Thanks.

After reforming the petals you may position the dish, say to intelsat 20, then by the help of a simple sat metre watch the signal strength as you perfect the realignment of the petals.
it helped me a great deal.

After so much man-hours, gave up on getting the digiturk goodies on the europe b beam, eutelsat 7E, so decided to try Badr and not to be disappointed got goodies like BBC HD,FX,fighBox HD,DocuBox HD,Aljazeera America, so all is good. i'm using a 1.8m dish, with a sanstech fuji lnb. location - shores of lake Victoria

Has anyone had success in tracking europe b beams eutelsat 7e especily in coast?in need of tips

i did manage to patch my receiver and i've seen the option to insert biss keys, i did google keys but i dont know how to insert them. kindly assist step by step guide

Great work ruffcast. Were you using a Prime Focus 1.8 m dish?

I see the BADR signals are a little stronger close to Lake Victoria than in Nairobi. Is anyone in Nairobi getting BADR on a 1.8 m Prime Focus dish?

Anyone who has nailed 7e europe b in Nairobi with 130cm? Some frequencies seem elusive like 11637

Hi FTA Nash do you per chance have the above measurement for a 2.4m Eurostar Prime Focus dish. I would appreciate that a lot.

Hi Abu I-man

now which is which, flybird said stargold single lnb is beter than starlife lnb now you're saying the other way, i had decided to look for stargold single lnb, now which better.

Hi,

Maybe the gurus in the house can give us the way but personally i am impressed with the starlife. It has given me an increase of more than 15% on sd channels and a 20% increase in hd channels without moving the dish position......:.but hey as i said i am only a newbie 🙂
