hie guys...i av a new openbox v8 combo receiver...my question is..is it able to nab intelsat 20 power vu channels?

The day I tried Intelsat 20 using 600.....key it opened all the Sony channels. But failed to open 57E channels until today.

Firstly downolad Softcam keys on Netkeysat.net. It will be old and then edit it by overwriting with the newkeys downloaded on web link which you will find after searching powervu. Edit the file called softcam using notepad. Right click the file go to open with notepad. Change the old keys and save the softcam in a flash outside any folder. when on openbox V8 import keys to the receiver. Anytime you want to add new keys or want to do major changes backup your old keys on the flash first of all. Share the results please.

By the way Openbox V8 is able to trace free channels on those pay T2 platforms, They were 2 now one remaining, BET2 and Afr magic Apic

SkyVision Global Networks, a global satellite communications service provider, has announced a partnership with ABS, the global satellite operators, to launch two new video platforms on ABS-3A. This will provide quality DVB-S and DVB-S2 content, including HD, via satellite across Sub-Saharan Africa, including French speaking Africa and South Africa.

The signing of this agreement will deliver vital communications services viaABS-3A, a premium satellite located at the 3?W orbital position, to effectively meet the growing demand for content and DTH services using 90cm dishes. The new platforms will support both SD and HD channels in MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 encoding. Coverage will focus on the FTA channels and pay-TV markets in Sub-Saharan Africa.

I tracked NSS 12 successfully but TP 4147v9245 showing sport 24 HD is elusive on my side.

There is a post that was posted by one of Gurus of forum QIMEU and I

:Hi Ijumuso and the entire house. the answer for 160e is NO. kenya is approximately 36e. from this point, the eastern Horizon is 90 degrees to the east of 36e. This brings us to 126e(36+90). Hence, the eastern horizon is roughly on 126e. Depending on your location and topography, it is likely possible to nail sats up to and around 126e. Beyold this point, its possibly impossible in respect to kenya. Remember this will also depend on the foot print,end of quote.

Remember even Kungu1 was forced to lift his 2.4m dish on top of house roof to nub Measat 3 at 91.5?E.
