This is very true. I had modify my 2.4m dish to get Asiasat 7. I extended the adjustable arm and the dish is facing 90 degrees! With measat 3A, I had to temporalily use plaster of paris to hold it.

So today I came home to relax and enjoy the fruits of my labor/setup (I'm on E7A, IS20, 7w and the recently malysiad Am5). Shock on me! My SRT 4950h would not boot. The power indicator was on but nothing else. So I did the following:

1. I went to my comp, looked for the latest SW, saved it in a flash, renamed it as "ROM.bin".
2. I switched off the stb, inserted the flash in the USB port at the back of the stb
3. I switched the stb on as I pressed the red "ON" button on the remote.
4. The stb immediately recognized the .bin file and kicked off. Three minutes later, it resurrected from the dead.
5. I reset it to factory settings and set it off on the mission to #bringbackmychannels, which it did with ease.

As I write this, I am stretched on the couch, once again enjoying the fruits of my labour. I thought this information may be important for someone else who finds themselves in this predicament.

Thanks for response. What about Nss12. I was able to track it but T.P for sport 24 very elusive on my side.

I did pick UNI TV on Measat 3a on my 1.8m dish but no any other to popped up. Measat requires atleast 2.4m dish. My location is Zambia

Why not swing your dish to Eutelsat 70B a few of the Kenxan mux are docked there ?

Infact I don't know what's wrong with Sameer softwares for SRT 4950h of late. It keeps on displaying error if you try to unzip it but surprisingly the 3.88p he released for 4922 series was not difficult to unzip. Sameer should know that we have waited so Long for the release of a working PVu software for 4950 series, so I appeal to him to let the software be easily unzippable.

Ebru, K24, KTN, Unjiru tv, Utugi tv, GBS, KTN News, Elimu tv and over 30 Local radio channels. I am only docked at 70B with the bad weather, i'd like the highest (q) at 95%.
