Congratulation for this,I do not see Irib Varzesh on the channel list is it popping up on scanning those tps?

Hi guys am staddos a brother from the west side of the continent. I have enjoyed reading all post on fringe satellite reception by you all especially that of Brother Kungu. I am hoping to learn a lot from you guys.

Has anybody experience this I use strong 4669 XII to track. When I get signal quality of 50% on hotbird but when I connect my Dreambox DM 800 HD PVR the SNR reads 31%. If I use the 4669XII the signal quality is still 50%. However higher levels of signal quality of 95% on 4669Xii would read more SNR for example 98%.The problem is not the cable nor DiSeqc switch as I have disconnected and still same problem persist. If anyone faced a problem like this your advice would be greatly appreciated.

i was able to track the frequency but the football channel is locked.am only getting football audio

Check if your strong receiver is patched by pressing pin 6969 than again 6969 to activated or deactivate patch.

Once your patch is active, enter pin code 8280 while on b*ss key coded channel eg Irib 3 OR Irib Varzesh channel.

On biss key table select line you what to save b*ss key on e.g 1,2,3,4......>>>

Example>>>>>>
If the biss key for channel X is 12 3A BC 08 45 60 EF A1,

Enter the said key e.g on line 2 twice, exit and save as shown in the image above.

Check if your receiver is MPEG 4 compliant.

I think your receiver can only handy mpeg 2 format that is why you are getting only audio but no video on channels broadcasting under mpeg 4 format.

Right now the channel is working correctly with picture and audio. yesterday night there was only audio while there was a football match.

this is because IRIB TV3 is sometime encrypted especially during soccer. activate the patch on your receiver and enter the b**s k**s as instructed by brother Kungu and enjoy. i know you missed last night match between chelsea and bayern munich. never miss out on next.

i also noticed IRIB VARSESH is not on chinasat 12. or is it there?

different setbox models have different signal level and quality.like the old strong model have lower quality & signal level compared to the new model. What matters is the signal level.

Try vsr 9000HD on DVB-S2 tp, the signal level can be as low as 8% yet you can get stable pictures.

The frequencies you got are actually on Eutelsat 7 west A part of the Nilesat satellites >>>> FlySat Eutelsat 7 West A @ 7.3° West
Check list of channels on frequency 11258 H & 10892 H

Under Nilesat Antenna setting on your receiver, run auto scan to see how many more frequencies you will lock on.

With proper adjustment of your dish & lnb, you should get over 500 channels.
