Help needed.
I have tried to set up my 6ft with the supermax lnb and 4950H here in Kikuyu to catch Apstar but failed miserably. The signal quality flactuates between 78% and 85% but the picture cracks alot. Any advice would be welcome.

It could be because of interference from wifi and other telephony signals. Try to put your dish somewhere at low level. am watching it at a maximum of 81%

The only thing I have tried is to combine 7e & 5e on that 130cm using one lnb, that is before I trained it to 7w. Currently I am getting all the birds on or around 7w (Nilesat, Eutelsat 7w, Eutelsat 8w) with the set-up in that photo. But I have seen photos here of people who have combined more than one lnbs successfully. Check for example a setup that was sent here by FTA-Nash sometime back.

Eutelsat 8B is operated by Eutelsat and Egyptian company Nilesat designed for DTH reception..................

Gich you can combine 7e & 7w by making 7e primary. And its "doable" like we say. By the way i have noted its true Offsets outperform Prime focus by far. I changed my Nilesats to a 90cm and am getting CNN cracking. I intend to change to a 100cm soon To stabilize it. My 180cm pf is holding fort on 7e African beam until i find time to improve focal length.

I ditched my 180cm pf for 130cm offset to receive 7E Europe beam and it worked wonders. If you use 110cm Offset for Nilesat, you will get CNN, City 7 etc
