Openbox V8 Combo is PowerVue enabled. Keys are updated via softcam.key.

but doesn't work. Tried entering keys manually, updating with the unstable sw but doesn't work. 4922 works like magic. anyway be patient, perhaps their next update will be fine

muzombozi! pardon me ,until i hit 5 posts i wil only be able to reach you this way and about whatsapp thats another story...anway pliz advice me the freight costs by either post or dhl though i would prefer the former.

What software version do you have on your Openbox? Mine is v3.716.110. Secondly, what is not working? The keys in the softcam file or the Powervu function itself? The keys are supposed to be universal across all devices. If a key is working on one device it should work on the rest.

Hi guys, there is a strong decoder srt4922A with multi tv logo, can it be patched? it doesn't look genuine its remote control resembles that of srt4922 and it controls both models

Yes Mashaa it can be patched without any problem. When you go to crosat website there are two versions of srt 4922 uploads i.e strong for africa and strong for middle east. You will notice that strong for africa patches have logos for Multi tv and My tv. But for middle east its just the normal strong logo but all of them work without any problem.

ASAS people, this must be a fake one huh? Cant be patched however much I try

Following keenly, Openbox v8 combo has power vu option and also one can enter/edit keys manually. But for some wierd reason. Its not opening the PV channels on Apstar 7 isnt it. This is the debate we should be having without fear or favour. Unless somebody can prove otherwise with pictures ofcourse. Just like they did with D*g*t*k on 7e.

Kibet you are on point. PowerVu is available. Unfortunately I don't have Apstar 7 on my end to do the test.

ovy running test transmission on eutelsat 7b 10804h 30000

Ovy Network is gearing itself to becoming the
second TV channel to take on other operators
head-on in Botswana and the region. According
to George Kavwenje, the Group CEO for Ovy
Network, his organisation will soon be operating
pay TV in Zambia and Malawi, but would offer
free view for Botswana viewers. This new project
was mooted in 2014 and will be put to trial on
the 17th of August 2015.
“We are starting trials in August and then we go
commercial services on the 17th of October. We
will be facing a satellite called E7B and with this,
you will be able to receive signals at 7 degrees
east,” explained Kavwenje. He added that they
have so far acquired a full transponder from
EutelSat which will enable them to carry 40 SD
channels.
“These will be available in Botswana and all the
other countries.” He said in order to be able to
carry out the trials; they have to satisfy the
relevant regulatory requirements. “We have
satisfied the local Botswana Communications
and Regulatory Authority (BOCRA) for the set-
top-box (decoders) for this country and our
decoder is very dynamic in that it is a PVR which
enables you to watch satellite, DDT all in one.
Recently, OVY Network and Filmbox International
which is a unit of SPI International Group have
entered into a distribution contract. As per the
deal, eight channels from FilmBox will be

Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
The channels include two movie channels,
FilmBox Africa and FilmBox Arthouse; FightBox,
a martial arts channel; Fast’nFunBox, sports
channel; DocuBox, a documentary channel;
FashionBox, fashion channel; 360TuneBox, a
music channel; and MadscreenBox, a live,
interactive game channel with family-oriented
entertainment. “We are excited to expand our
footprint in Africa,” said Berk Uziyel, Executive
Director for Filmbox International.
“So far our channels have been performing very
well throughout the region. This is why our
partner OVY Network decided to carry eight of
them on its OVYtv platform in multiple
territories,” Uziyel added. OVY Network is a
world-class Telecoms and Media Broadcast
provider of comprehensive delivery, production,
content management and end-to-end
transmission services to TV, radio and data
channels using its extensive integrated worldwide
satellite, fiber and Internet communications

ASAS people, this must be a fake one huh? Cant be patched however much I try

It looks fake. Check the remote at the back does it have S logo for strong and its website? Genuine ones must have that logo at the back of the remote. Also fake strong 4922 cannot be patched with crosat softwares, it wont accept.

Softcam for which satellites? Different softcam files have keys for different satellites.
thank u for the reply dear muzombozi , yes plz give me for 91.5 east , for remaining satellite , i will do the rest ( just i need the working format dear brother)!

@Xponder i wonder if you are giving or getting the 4950h because if you are giving away then you are losing. Its not a fair deal

The softcam I have right now only has European PowerVu keys. PowerVu for Asian satellites not available as yet. It will be out soon.
