For those on 7e europe beam and are using a diseq switch, investigate your switch for some do compromise on the signdal quality of some tps. when using a eurostar 4 input, the tp carrying disney junior and that carrying discovery among others are green and stable. upon replacing it with a brand new wiztec 4 input, the said tps turn red. most of the inputs of my eurostar are fried and was to replace it. this was never to be and i would rather have it and forgo some sats than have the new wiztec and loose some of my must have channels. Hence, the switch could be your barrier.

what seriously is the issue with the whatsapp group?? am no admin so I will try to be neutral a bit, can't the forum and the group both run concurrently?? it is quite a headache uploading pictures on the forum, so I guess whatsapp wins there. the forum's biggest win is the ability to go back through the thread and check on past posts .digital migration gave us all a headache, but where are we now?? I don't think the existence of the group, kills the forum.

my observations on Amos 17 when im using a cheap decoder like ES10 Euroster the channels seem 2b stable without hicaps compared 2 astrovoxHd 9000 which looks superior but disappoint at the end

Agree with you totally. The diseqc switch has played tricks especially with 7e European beam. In fact I realized when I connect 7e directly to the receiver signal increases. I don't know how the 8 port diseqc behaves. I am using the eurostar 4 port one.

I am using a brand that almost doesnt compromise signal quality. Its an 8 port deseqc switch. Bout it yrs ago and cant remember the name but with give the name when I go back home. I also first used Eurostar 4 port but it wasn't good enough.

Use a LINE AMPLIFIER works very well with any DiSEqC switch but make sure you connect it opposite.Down at coast province some tps don't turn green until line AMPLIFIER is used at 7°E

I read on tele-satellite magazine that the era of coaxial cable is coming to an end and we will be using fibre optic cable due to its resilience and very low loss of signal. Anybody knows how this fibre thing works kungu?

Not sure, but any C-band LNB should work. The most important thing there is the conical feedhorn.

It's connected between lnb and DiSEqC but in reverse ie the end marked to dish should be connected to decorder and the one marked to decorder should be connected to dish
