Yes you can get 7E Eu beam but with inverto LNB,( from Gilgil to UG). In Nairobi you will only get NatGeo Pple. I would recommend 130 cm offset dish, Inverto LNB and Strong 4922.

Let us remain on this forum. Let the new members migrate to Whatsapp and give us peace here. The reason why old members no longer post here is because the newcomers are breaking all the rules of the forum, and also we oldies have phone numbers we call each other often, so no need to post.

Personally I have ASAS enthusiasts in Zambia, South Africa, Cameroun, Congo and Nigeria whom we consult privately.

I am not for the idea of a whatsapp group for so many reasons.

1- it has no historical records to fall back on
2- it will just create unnecessary talk that is not satellite related
3- in the event one formats his phone,back to square one
4- no topics will be followed as the rate at which messages will flow might end up making even valid questions obsolete
5-it creates spam

Since the days of RDI, one family has emerged and thus ASAS has been a uniting factor. There was no whatsapp then but we remained as one.

....and ensure that the lnb is for the appropriate dish, i.e. pf lnb for pf dish and vice-versa
