This will be a good opportunity for those around these two places to meet with the Strong guys. I have checked their website and seen this 85cm with 5 lnb holders! Can they make this their flagship project/standard, i.e. all their dishes (present and the ones proposed by ASASErs here) to have multiple lnb holders. This I believe will make them a darling in this forum. By the way, are these dishes available in Kenya?
 
We installers we are suffering with poor quality dishes like Eurostar this is a house sheet gauge if he comes to Nairobi or not please let us straggle with this and that receiver 4915....today is 11 four days to go which place we meet with this man and how many mates know about this and how we contact ourselfs?

No offence to anyone but the biggest problem with us Africans is that we expect others to come help us solve our problems. We know exactly what we need but it takes someone coming from outside to come sort us? Why can't we get the stuff we need ourselves?

I know for a fact the people who are interested in meeting this Strong Sales manager are doing so because they are STRONG die hards. Indeed there are several receivers out there with T2 and other capabilities. Interacting with this guy and providing market intelligence will open ready access to strong products. This will assist aganist price exploitation caused by scarcity and everyone will be happy.

When all is said and done everyone has the freedom to choose what they want in this capitalist world. Those in Nairobi or Mombasa and their environs and are interested in meeting this gentleman can do so. By doing that you will have represented CHIEF and others who are scattered all over Kenya.

Really, everyone has area of specialisation. I might be very good at farming but poor in electrical knowledge. You realise creating patches is about computer programming which is very far from our usual ASAS.

How do we know its a he and not a her. Plus its amazing that he or she is based in Lebanon. I could have guessed he or she is from Dubai or Cairo

a he or a she is not an issue. the thing is that u now have an opening to air ur views n should be greatful for that. its very rare to have such an opportunity.
what you u need to do is collect all views compile them and get them presented at d meeting.
for ur info abi Hanna means father to Hanna so u can do the rest.

A. ALL STRONG RECEIVERS

1. How about a more sensitive tuner for their decoders like that of openbox combo v8.
2. Remote: control - can they make some firm/stronger, smaller and more compact remote?

B. SRT 4915 COMBO RECEIVER (OR FUTURE PLANNED COMBO)

1. The Combo receiver should have rs232 or LAN port for data transfer.
2. They should also make all the input and output to be through F-connectors, rather than the IEC connectors
3. What is the difference between the Terrestrial Ant in/out and RF in/out in 4915 receiver? Does it mean it uses a special terrestrial aerial?
4. What are its diseq support capabilities?
5. The combo device should be created to support patches the combo should be power vu compliant & equally have VPN for data compression for IPTV. It should also support Web browsing not only YouTube.
6. It should have bigger RAM like strong 4950H.

C. SRT 4950H Receiver
Request to release power vu keys software for SRT 4950 series as they have done for SRT 4922.
D. DISHES/AERIALS
1. Request for 150cm and above offset dishes.
2. Introduce metal 2.4m offset dish in Africa... not prime focus dish.

And should be affordable ie for 5k (receiver)
 
IQ HD On ABS2 75E great picture and documentaries but the downside is in Russian
