I am thinking that the member who suggested this had in mind the receivers having capabilities to accept software updates (maybe suggesting third party updates not). Otherwise, STRONG themselves release updates for their receivers from time to time. So the suggestion is not far-fetched after all. Here: Download Software | Strong Technologies

Certainly not me as a few posts ago will reveal. I even sought clarification from what the member meant cos I had the same opinion as you have. Don't kill the messenger. All in all, I believe your point has reached home.

Gich no need of snapshot just normal set-up,a single LNB mounted at normal position (primary position)

Not possible to add another lnb coz the distance of 7w and 8w is about 2-3cm.just one lnb and fine setting.

I don't think the dish is to blame here, some times they become stable themselves
