Hello Great People,

Please I need advise on how to obtain a patched key for Eurostar EB 9700 HD. Am unable to access biss keys for the same. Cheers, Eutelsat

Did you say its more sensitive than 4950M/H on 7E EUROPE BEAM?I'm using 4950H ,240 PM DISH and some tps like 11554H30000 ,11678H 30000 & 11471H30000 are very stable during the day but as from 8pm until 7am scratchy .I'm not interested with its T2 Turner because I'm hooked on 62°E & 70.5°E receiving the locals in GLORIUS HD especially the ADN PACKAGE.Last but not least just go for 240 cm OFFSET which happens to be more powerful than 240 PRIMEFORCUS

Pardon me, but there is no channel on the ADN package that televises on the 1080p or over platform, meaning there is no HD, glorious or otherwise - though Kiss tv once moved up their quality in transmission to HD, others are still in 780p - even if you watch it on UltraHD 4k tv, if content is not in HD, then it is not in HD what you see.

HD starts at 720p. 1080p is called Full HD. I'm yet to see a local channel broadcasting in HD format, they are not even close to 720p. The poor quality local broadcasts are very annoying. Size of the screen and viewing distance determines the need for HD. For screens below 32" it doesn't make much difference whether the picture is in HD or not if you maintain a reasonable viewing distance. With screens above 40", poor picture quality becomes rather obvious unless you are seated very far away from your screen.

I posted a video a while back on the OPENBOX V8 COMBO . Here is the T2 Function..

But compared to others citizen tv on adn looks very good. It even looks better than it did in analogue. It is very watchable even on a 40 inch screen.

,, And Here is the Satellite Function... As you can see. My favourite groups are mixed both T2 and S2

Someone should tell Strong to come up with a DVB-T2/S2 Combo decoder.
Tolil, and I told them as you suggested and this is what they had to say:

"Yes we are developing such product. Is there a demand for combo receivers in Kenya?"

Hi people, heard about powerVU, googled but didn't grasp much..whats the benefit of powerVU?

I also wrote an email to them regarding combo receivers and their response was:

Hallo pals, i got another response from Strong technologies, just check below and give your views/input regarding specifications you require apart from DVB-S2+DVB-T2.

Thank you for your interest in STRONG.
We have a combo receiver (SRT 4915) that we hope, soon enough, it will be introduced to the Kenyan market.

Having said that, and to be sure we are offering the right product, kindly help us defining the specifications you look forward to find in such decoder.

A reply would be greatly appreciated.

Yes that is one of the important specs. I have also noted that it does not have rs232 or Lan port for data transfer.
I have already notified the guy about that. The srt 4915 is still being fine tuned before launching so i believe our views and suggestions will be considered maybe. Srt 4915 seems to be an improved version of srt 4910 combo which had dvb-s2+dvb-t capability.

Here is SRT4915 Brochure sent to me by strong technologies,

I have looked at the brochure.
Besides what others have said, they should also make all the input and output to be through F-connectors, rather than the IEC connectors.
What I did not get is the difference between the Terrestrial Ant in/out and RF in/out in this receiver. Does it mean it uses a special terrestrial aerial? What is it's diseq support capabilities?
The other thing is the remote control. Can they make some firm/stronger, smaller and more compact remote? If the one I have for 4950H is anything to go by, their work is cut out. It is too delicate. I should share the images of my remote. It looks like a spider web from the many falls from the many ASAS victims in the house!
