As Ph-25 said. And I quote "The answer is yes".With one dish of 90cm/120cm and one LNB you are capable of bringing down two birds with one stone, Ses 5 @5 E and Eutelsat 7A @7 E.But I prefer 120cm dish which will be able to receive the weak frequency like Tp 12734v 4430 carrying a feed channel of etv that show UEFA Champions League with English commentator on Tuesdays.

Thanks alot Vicwa,I have a 120cm will try it out this wkend. 🙂

Indeed to get the UEFA Champions League feed "proper" you need to use a bigger dish since its beam is not precisely on SES 5 but on neighboring Astra 4A .See the difference below. ..So its a thin balance act where there's some compromise

SES 5 at 5.0°E
Astra 4A at 4.8°E

Thanks a lot Gich! :wink2: Will do my research on the basis of the info you provided. In terms of total cost: what am I looking at approximately?

Working perfectly, thanks a lot. That hustler tv is "moto wa kuotea mbali" :embarrassed:. Thank God I was all alone when I was unscrambling the channels. Bein Sport French in HD and nice. They showed two Serie A matches and an FA Cup match live last night.
All my encrypted channels are either using Irdeto, Betacrypt or NDS encryption. what to do?

Have you activated the software by press 6969?
press 8280. enter your biss keys. remember if the keys are16 in number, enter them twice in the same line. exit and go to yes to save
I played with the 6969 and it turns off then turns on. I will try in both modes and update.

I also realized 8281 and 8282 are also functions (can't exactly remember what they do though)

Been watching locked to nilesat 7w/eutelsat7w then the signal disappeared to 0,I am in Nairobi anyone on this satellites with a similar problem it's been like 2hrs

What receiver is this? With srt 4950h I pressed F1 then page down key. It gave the option to enter the key by pressing the green button on the remote.

What bird are you locked on? The ones I'm talking about are on Eutelsat 7A on 7e. They appear as Feeds and are biss.

World, now that depends on many factors..e.g. size and type of dish, type of receiver, whether you'll do it yourself...etc. On average, let's talk about ksh.20k. It could be less, it could be more.

Been a daily guest on the forum and now this first post. I got openbox v8 combo. its great having terrestrial and satellite on one stb. sometimes backa member reviewed the box and queried on Biss key. to enter you go to conditional access and press 6666. enjoying goodies on Amos 5 on 90cm dish and 7degree west on 6fts dish. location Mombasa. My over one week of patience hast borne any fruit yet...I'm Still trying to crack the BISS key for

- BeIN sports 1& 2 French
- BFM France
- M6 France
- Hustler HD

on 7E ..12521 Mhz

been running some processing for more than a week now without luck. .using a BISS cracking utility.

I'm using this Indonesian guide to help me decipher the code.,( the photos are self-explanatory )

But rest assured ASAS mates once I crack it, I would gladly share[/QUOTE]

Your efforts have been fruitful.

That's true. But Etv feed channels are on sub-Saharan Africa footprint whereby you can use smaller dish of 90cm if you are aiming Astra 4A & Ses 5.I use 90cm dish with Q70% TP 12734v 4430 on srt 4922.
