Guys I had Bein Sport yesterday after downloading latest patch for strong 4950. However I cannot find it even afterblindscan. How can I find it again.

Hello everyone. An update on the 4950H. I took the decorder to an electrician in the hope that he will be able to sort it out now that no one seems to have a solution to the above problem. Long story short, electrician claims there was some water that poured into the circuit (I disagree as I handle the gadget) and some resistors are messed. Says he cant find the resistors and its all wasted. Claims it cant be repaired and that I should get a new box. Any advice on this? I believe I can get it fixed but I need pointers...OR Should I sell it for spare parts? If so, any offers?

My strong 4950H developed the same issue after storing it without use for over a month.

Tried the indicated solutions but didn't work.

My receiver came back to life miraculously after leaving the casing open for over 2 weeks in a dry place.

Hopefully this simply method will do the trick.

If you are using strong 4950H just patch it with the latest software V3.15P,go to the channel you want to add biss key and press the down page button,the key page will appear on the screen then press the green button to add biss key.

I am using 4922 - I updated it to a feb 2015 release and this enabled me to get the 'interface' to put in the keys. after I put them in, the channels remain scrambled. I might be missing a very simple step...

I updated my 4950h last night and noticed that the interface also changed. The new interface looks sleeker than the earlier one. Anyone else noticed that?

I downloaded the latest software patch ver 3.16 and I was able to watch basketball on bein sports in French on eutelsat 7E. it was on a feed channel that popped up after updates. however in the morning the channels were not there. were they temporary?

I did a blind scan and was able to get FRANCE 24,NHK WORLD, RT,DW,CCTV,I24 which were not there yesterday.I also lost MUVI TV channels.

I'm new into this fta hobby so I guess I must have fiddled with some settings. Any help in getting the channels back?

thanks. But I think some of us greenhorns need a step by step guide.I added some biss keys and nothing happened. seems there are steps we are missing as someone has intimated above. those

the software is not intuitive.

......and lastly if there is anyone willing to guide me on how to get those d*g*t*urk channels I'll be more than thrilled..PM me.

Have you activated the software by press 6969?
press 8280. enter your biss keys. remember if the keys are16 in number, enter them twice in the same line. exit and go to yes to save

they are working fine, maybe your dish changed position. you need to tighten you dish

You are on Ses 5 @5 E carrying the channels FRANCE 24,NHK and DW on TP 12015V 29950 also RT,CCTV and NHK WORLD TP 12053V 29950.adjust you dish to Eutelsat 7A @7 E and tighten you dish well.

input 6969 twice to turn On/Off the biss menu..select the channel u want to open,then press 8280 .select any line n put the new biss key ..then exit and remember to save changes...after 3 seconds the channel should open.
