Waww!!, Thanks QIMEU For that motivating update. My 3LNBs on my dish have been misaligned abit due to the "long time, novisit to the roof" i will get these back in order and rescan my SRT. :smile-big:. This deasease of ASAS never cures, it's always in the blood.

Hi Vince9. I was wondering where you disappeared to. I thought you had been healed of the ''very disturbing ASAS disease''. MBC's almost coincided with your come back. they are live and clear at their accustomed bird. rescan your srt. Dear gridenko,

Just incase this is still a problem, Just pick any ku SATELLITE that isn't in use and feed in the TPs os AMOS 5, watchout for the signal and SCAN. and that will solve your problem
If your Receiver allows renaming the satellite like mine, you can go ahead and edit the name too.:A S 465:

Yesterday I re-directed my idle Eurostar 90Cm dish plus Inverto Single LNB from Eutelsat 8 West-A to Nilesat with pleasant results! After much tweaking / fine adjustments, I got all the TPs on Nile201 at a quality of 62-63 percent; all stable including TPs carrying CNN, BBC, MBC channels, Gear One, Dubai One, etc; And all TPs on Eutelsat 7 West A had quality of 73% and higher. SRT4922A. Results should be better on a SRT4950H. Reason for trying on a 90Cm? Previously, my combined setup of 7East, 7West, Amos 5 and SES5 has failed to deliver a stable performance from Nile201 TPs (although those from Eutelsat 7 West A are okay). But with the return of the MBCs back to Nile201, I could not resist the urge to climb on the roof again! My ASAS symptoms are cured, at least for now ………….

Also got Yamal 54.9 East on a 90Cm plus Inverto LNB at 80% quality. From the yahsat position, just lower the dish 3 milimeters. Now that I could get Dubai One from the Nile201 described above, I had to sacrifice Yahsat for Yamal. Only tradeoff is that I will miss the superb HD quality of Dubai One I have hitherto enjoyed on Yahsat. The hunt continues ………….

Am using eurostar hd 1000. I doubt the decoder was the problem cause there were numerous complaints from other members with different decoders (mind you its sometime ago ~ about 1year ago or more). Someone had suggested time shifting to solve the problem
