If the measurements of dish is 110cm from top to bottom, then the measurements of LNB arm is the redius of the dish which is 110cm divide by 2 = to 55cm or 22 inches. So the length of LNB arm from the surface of dish is 22 inch. Take that measurements to welding man of your area.

i have a z**u SAS603 decoder which receives FTA channels..the problem with mine is that i cannot edit the tps.can anyone help me on that issue?

Hello forum members. I have 2 very burning questions which I am urgently looking for answers to. 1. If you own a Sony bravia 3d led tv, I noticed it has a digital tuner. Has anyone had an experience using it? im still in the process of setting my gadgets up and would like to know if its reliable and how good it is to nab birds...local, exotic, fringe etc 2. I bought a genuine SRT 4950H decorder about 7 months ago. I turned it on to tune it about twice. Its been in the box all this time cos I was using a 4922 all this time. 2 days ago, I tried connecting ..as experimentation... a USB dvd drive through the usb port. The dvd drive powered on but the decorder completely refused to switch on ie shows the red power button but doesn't come on at all! I ttried following all the instructions on reviving it including the ROM.bin software from srt webside but its not giving in. Completely refused to come on. I have read all the posts on how to revive a dead 4950H but none of the methods have worked. I wonder if the decorder was faulty or I messed something up..eg Short circuit of some sort. Can someone please come to my rescue... Anyone experienced the RED Light syndrome? No green light no signal ...nothing? What do I do? Thanks

Safaricom Set To Launch Kshs 3,499 bob Set Top Box

Mobile service provider Safaricom is set to venture into
the Pay TV space after applying for a digital
broadcasting licence. Safaricom is said to have sought
approval for set top boxes from the Communication
Authority of Kenya. The companies entry into the space
is in line with its diversification plan to reduce its
reliance on the Voice Market.
Safaricom CEO told Bloomberg News in an interview last
year that the TV product will allow consumers to buy a
preferred program such as a documentary or a movie and
watch it through devices like tablets, smartphones or
televisions. “People want to decide when they want to
consume; they don’t want you to tell them. That
immediacy is, I think, how the future will be defined.” he
said.
Safaricom is likely to offer the service in a Triple play
model as one used by Wananchi Group’s Zuku. Under
the triple play model, Telephony, Cable television and
high-speed Internet service are offered under a single
bundle/ subscription. The TV portion of the service
includes a wide choice of cable channels and music
channels and may include other TV-related services
such as messaging, interactive viewing and gaming.
The key consideration in the Internet connection is
adequate bandwidth and Safaricom has recently invested
heavily in a 4G internet network which will be
instrumental in the delivery of the service.
Safaricom is not the first major Telco to venture into this
space with Rogers Wireless and Bell of Canada having
heavily invested into the provision of triple and
quadruple play modeled bundles. Speculation is rife that
the service could either cost KES. 499 a month for the
entire bundle consisting of 35 TV channels and the Free
to air channels, or that it could be fully free to air with
an option for internet content via SIM card slot. The
decoders are set to cost KES. 3,499.
