am locked at apstar 7, the very bird with the above sky net sports. am on c-bird with a quality of 75%, nice channels, scrambled but I can still watch them but with the $ sign still on screen

Why can't you give a straight forward answer? Why are you causing all this anxiety?
If you are using a STRONG receiver surely you can read the frequency on your screen by pressing OK button.
Secondly you should be able to tell us the LNB, dish size and your location in one short post.
Is this info top secret only known to CIA, FBI, KGB, MOSSAD and their other less known "big brothers".?

kibukia, only nabbed the bird only on c-band, my hunt for Ku band was interrupted by rain, when the rain was over, I realized of the game on arabsat 5c. am getting back to the roof when am done with Southampton vs man city

my location is gatundu kiambu kenya, dish PF 6 feet, receiver is SRT 4922 using 777 supermax lnb. let's help each other on any other information since am very new to the world of FTA.

if you are keen enough to follow or enquire from other sources, you could have realized that, the skynet sport channels are, only available on KU-BAND Asia beam and or Myanmar beam, which until now I haven't been able to nab at my location. whatever you can smell is probably some sort of smell from your kitchen be it a rat or a fish.

Hello I think I would not be wrong to say that it is not possible to receive Ku band frequency with C band lnb, unless there is c band frequency which is not mentioned on fly or lyngsat,but a gain if you scanned the channels as you said , then frequency still remains on the decoder no matter what satellite you are currently tune to,

Yes they're temporarily Fta though encryption flagged. They're however not the "our own" SSs from SA; they're Albanian and are on a European beam.

this apstar saga is doing harm to our asas..I wish members would aspire to provide detailed information like our father Mr Kungu does..he's so detailed u almost salivate once u see his updates,
we can't understand how a seemingly Ku beam is receivable with cband..my point is..prepare ur post well before updating here and it's not wrong to say u "stand to be corrected" if u r not so confident in whatever you post... viva FTA and am patiently waiting for a clear info on apstar 7.

Av noticed the Kenyan Mux on Eutelsat10E freq 3729 R 10321 5/6 is only visible in the Evenings from 7pm cant watch it during the day. Despite using a Eurostar 8ft dish Supermax C band lnb, Echolink 4777hd decoder. Location is Eldama Ravine (Bondeni) Anyone experienced this!

That's also my case (8ft dish, eurostar ESDT700 Lnb, SRT 4950H. Location Naivasha). The signal is maximum on Satlink 6912 satellite finder at the evening but no signal during the day but the rest frequencies are okay throughout

The tps are there in lyngsat these are ku tps .The way i see it i think it is possible to receive ku with C-Band but not with all decoders i did it once.Let me try this bird tomorrow first thing then i will submit a comprehensive report to the house.

Hi gk, this is getting interesting now, just today while searching for irib i forgot to set the parameters for a cband satellite and scanned 20e with a cband lnb using a ku satellite and I was surprised to see the cband channels come up with 5 digit ku tps and frequencies.
but me also thinks that a ku lnb can not nab cband channels but i stand to be corrected like my friend has said.
